I love music, and I love teaching children to play the piano! I teach classical and sacred music. I have played for many special events (weddings/funerals/church worship team). Growing up in a one-income family, I understand the difficulty of finding affordable music lessons. My low price enables families with multiple children to have piano lessons they can afford. I have flexibility to service home-school families during the day. In my piano room, there is a large table where waiting students can quietly play games or do homework. I am approximately two miles from North Lake mall with quick access to I-485 and I-77.

My goal is help students to achieve their fullest musical potential. As a foundation for the lessons students will learn to read and write traditionally notated music. For more advanced students honing their ears and understanding of music theory will be a focus in addition to their playing.
I'm well versed in many different styles (classical, jazz, acoustic, rock, blues, funk, metal, etc) so they can expect a healthy understanding of each of these styles and more during our studies.

Susan Taylor is an excellent piano teacher. We are very, very happy with the lessons she has given us. She has that much desired quality of being flexible and understanding, not pushing the student too hard, and yet expecting the student to "perfect" her short pieces, so that she is playing beautifully right from the start. I highly recommend Ms. Taylor to anyone, adult or child, who is interested in learning to play the piano."
