My son started with piano than decided he wanted to play guitar. He's been with Daniel fot over a year and half and has learned a lot. One of the things I wanted for my son to learn is to be able to learn to play by ear. Not only has Daniel helped with the process of learning by ear, but my son can transpose guitar onto piano. He works great with children and allows them to bring the type of music the child wants to lear, which may conceive of music in games and other social media. He is very understanding when lessons had to be rescheduled. My son wanted to take a break from lessons so he could focess on completing the 8th grade where he was 3rd in his class by .0178%. He did receive the highest school honor and achievement, the school Principal award. Daniel inthralled the emphasis of practicing dailey so he can achieve the goal he wants. I don't pressure my son to play guitar, he does because he wants too, and Daniel is one those teachers who enjoys their craft and works well with young children, and he can't wait to return to taking lessons with Daniel.

- Music Theory: ear training, note-reading skills, and knowledge of how music works as a whole.

- Improvisation: drill and learn solo skills and increase confidence when jamming with other musicians.

- Technique: how to hold the guitar and use the left and right hands in a way that that is relaxed and tension free.

About Jeff
Are you looking to learn Guitar, Singing, Beatboxing or Songwriting? No matter what style you are in to, I can help you build the skills, confidence, & practice strategies to become a successful musician. Beginners, Intermediate, & Advanced all welcome!

Majoring in classical guitar performance at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts I was a part of many performance opportunities. These included solo classical guitar recitals, weekly performance class, a collaboration with the Columbia City Jazz Dance Company, and a performance at the Columbia Museum of Art to name a few. Now I frequently participate in songwriting showcases, street performances, and collaborations with bands and music groups of many different genres.

In a lesson with me you will be focusing on four main areas:

1] REPERTOIRE: Songs you are working o
n in preparation for performance or just to play for fun!
2] MUSIC THEORY: Exercises in ear training, note-reading skills, sight-reading skills, and overall knowledge of how music works.
3] IMPROVISATION: Learn drills to improve solo skills and increase your confidence jamming with other musicians.
4] TECHNIQUE: Guitar lessons focuses on how to properly use the left and right hands in a way that that is relaxed and tension free. Voice lessons entail learning how to breath properly, prevent vocal strain, and expand your range.

In addition to instrument lessons I also provide Songwriting Lessons, Music Theory Lessons, and Music Performance Lessons for more advanced students + I teach Recording, Web Design, and Graphic Design subjects for Artists or others looking to learn how to promote themselves or their projects. I taught beginning guitar through a local shop while in college. I have a strong background in reading music notation, and prefer to teach classically. We begin chord development at the intermediate level when students can read the chord in music notation. Finger style and jazz are personal favorites of style.

About Matthew
Hi, I am Matt. I am a band director in the Fort Smith, AR area. I am in my 7th year teaching band and love every minute of it. I have recently decided to return to teaching private lessons, and would love to help you with your auditions, festival music, AP music theory exams, or just learn some skills on becoming a better musician. Outside of the audition music, we continually work tone production, range, and confidence on any wind instrument. In college I had a small guitar studio as well. Some of those guitar students have gone on to study at the collegiate level and gig around town today! I have taught beginning band for 4 years now on all wind instruments including percussion. I have a firm grasp to provide solid fundamentals to start your musical journey and get you off to a great start. Feel free to ask me any questions about lesson
s.

June 2012 - June 2015 I was the head band director of Waldron High School in Waldron, AR. We won several awards through our marching and concert band program. I also ran after school lessons in which many students made our region honor band.

June 2015 - Present
I am currently the head director at Trinity Junior High in Fort Smith. I run a 7-9 band program that includes both marching and concert band seasons. Our student involvement is quite high as our band program serves about 50% of our total student population (about 90 kids served daily on all wind instruments). My band here has received many superior ratings, and many students make our region honor group, and go on to excel in high school band programs in our area.

Lessons are based around each individual student's music goals. Simple practical methods for understanding and developing the fundamental skills needed to play songs you love and want to perform are the focus of each lesson. Teaching and performing music are what I'm passionate about. I have over twenty years of teaching experience with beginners and advanced students and have developed a curriculum that really works for all levels and styles while keeping things fun!

About Brian
I'm an experienced teacher with a background as a full time touring musician. I graduated from the University of Miami with a degree in Studio Music and Jazz Performance. The focus of my music career has always been playing original music with bands but teaching has always been something I've loved too.

I've studied both classical and jazz but my favorite thing to teach people is songs. I love learning new songs and writing practical simple charts that show how they work. Playing and singing together for the first time is something magical. It's an amazing feeling and helping people learn how to do it makes me happy.

I've been teaching music for over twenty years and look forward to sharing my experience and knowledge with new students.

It's guitar playing, but my emphasis is Song Writing. I'm a performing Songwriter playing my own songs and no covers. Lyrics count, something from the heart. Great songs can be 2 chords if you can do it. I'll do my best to guide you to be great at this Art.

About steve
I've been writing songs since I started playing many years ago. I started as a Greenwich Village streetsinger, learning, and playing, all day. Before that I was
a poet winning awards at College and doing readings with a group of Poets.
It led to the challenge of writing good songs. I try to never write a song that's trite or sappy. Lol , I want to like my own stuff. I'm an average guitar player
but I make people forget that when they are listening to my songs. Contact me if you feel like you might have song writing inside you. Here are some of my songs: soundcloud.com/paul-eliot-1 (the name I sing under)

About Taylor
Hello,I'm Taylor Berry.

I have a lot of experience with Bluegrass, Old Time, Country, Acoustic, Jazz, and Rock Music.
I played with professional musicians and done so much songwriting. I'm very easy to get along, and maybe cut up a little just to make people laugh. I'm not one of those serious teachers that make lessons so horrible. My goal is to get students love their lessons and enjoy their lessons where they want to come back.
I'm a musician and every student is a musician, and it is wonderful to teach students who wants to become great musicians and that's why I want to teach is because I can teach students who has the same fire as I do. Music is fun, music is a learning experience every day, and music is for all of people from kids, to adults and the elders.

My style of teaching is giving the ideas and education to what
each student is learning. I give exercises to build muscle memory, I teach each student what to listen for and train what to predict and prepare. I teach theory and scales to help and improve improvisation in solo on their instruments. Such as guitar, mandolin, and fiddle. My goal is to teach students that will be great students and musicians that could do that anyone thought that they couldn't do. The best part about this job is I can teach and have fun, because I love to teach.

I am Taylor Berry, and I'm nobody else, but Taylor Berry. My goal is to bring out the better musician of each student and there is only one kind of that student and nobody else. Bring out the best future musician in each student.

Do you know how much fun it is to play guitar? Have you always wanted to play like your favorite guitarist? Do you want to take your skills to the next level?
I would be honored to help you!
Not only do we learn a lot along the way, we have a ton of fun.
I've been teaching 8 year old to adult students since 2003, with an emphasis on technique, reading fundamentals, listening skills, and discovering the many joys of music. Lesson plans are catered to the specific needs and goals of each student. My passion is to share knowledge and inspire young and old musicians to reach their utmost musical potential while having fun.
Contact me today and let me know how I can help you.
And thank you.

About Chad
Hello there. My name is Chad. I’ve been writing, recording, and performing music for over 25 years now. I’ve spent most of my adult life on stages and in recording studios. I’ve been blessed to tour the country and play with some touring members of the Dave Matthews Band, the Steve Winwood Band, the Gregg Allman Band, and the Rolling Stones. I’ve played drums on over 30 studio recordings as a session musician. I’ve also engineered and produced albums as an artist and for other artists in my studio. These experiences have given me the perspective to know what it takes to be a successful musician.

I teach beginning to professional drum students how to serve the song while being versatile, responsive, and dynamic. We focus on developing the fundamentals of reading, reliable technique, and listening skills. All this is in the pursuit of be
ing able to express yourself and “speak” through the instrument. My primary goal is to teach you how to become your own teacher, so you can continue to study and improve.

Recording students can expect to learn how to take a song from a rough idea and transform it into a radio-ready finished product. We learn the important concepts of recording and mixing right in my creative and comfortable studio located in Daytona Beach.

There is no greater joy for me than to help someone accomplish their musical goals! Teaching and mentoring is an honor and a privilege that I don’t take lightly. I would love to help you in any way I can. I look forward to meeting you!
