This is my new favorite arrangement of How Beautiful. 

Piano

I'm an accomplished accompanist and vocalist, with 10 plus years of expertise.  Currently, I’m a volunteer worship leader at church, for over 6 years; helping other musicians fulfill their ultimate potential through training and education.  Collaborate with other musicians for worship opportunities and projects.  Been able to facility vocal training, how to lead a worship experience and which instrumentation and vocal concepts to are appropriate.  Played piano at Von Maur, for 6 months where I utilized my piano skills to provide entertainment and guest requests.  Currently have many different  music students, where each week we assess their strengths that fulfill their ultimate potential, through activities and diverse learning concepts.

I believe that all musicians have the abilities to fulfill their ultimate potential; by assessing students learning styles, accessing community resources and just having fun learning musical concepts.  Curriculum examples that I would utilize for piano would be  Adventures in Piano and Succeeding at the Piano.   For the vocal students I utilize Exceptional Musicianship, created by Hal Leonard for accurate vocal techniques.  Within 3 months the students will have opportunities to demonstrate their musical abilities.  I will provide opportunities for students to demonstrate musical expertise through recitals and other events.  

Obtained an Associates in Arts at Butler County Community College, El Dorado, KS.
Obtained a Bachelors in Music Education from Wichita State University, Wichita, KS.

*** Studio Equipment ***
Main Room: electric keyboard (full 88 keys), couch, TV, and a chair, book cases, parents can sit in the lesson (encouraged)

*** Travel Equipment ***
The expectation is that the students must have access to a piano and audio equipment for their success.  

*** Specialties ***
The musical genres I'm an expert include Broadway, Show Choir, Faith-Based, Classical, Jazz, Pop, Performing Arts, Acting, Staging, Costuming, Props.  I believe that students need to have access with various musical styles that will aid their musical abilities.

Worship Leader and Pianist

Through my studio I teach voice, piano and acting lessons. My three goals are for students to create music and scripts, develop the confidence as a musician and actor and provide community opportunities to help students succeed to their ultimate potential. Students learn proper techniques, compose, demonstrate plays and shows, learn to read music and other options. We play tons of games and actives to tailor to their needs. I can humbly say that students will have tons of fun.

Private Talent Instructor

As an accompanist for the Wichita School District, I help music teachers, directors and students by playing their vocal parts, attend rehearsals and performances. In the past years I've have a chance to help students with vocal and rhythm techniques. I adhere to the music teachers and directors expectations, knowing the music well enough to play successfully. Always tons of fun to be in the school systems to help vocal and instrumental departments be successful.

We play games and activities to help each student develop their piano potential.  Currently we're playing water balloon games with rhythms, notes on the piano and staff.  The students love how piano lessons can be incorporated outside. Providing opportunities to play in the community, that produces more experience and confidence as a pianist.

*Learn fundamentals of how to play, yet allowing students to learn other styles of piano music they are interested in.
*Students complete tasks and musical concepts to help them succeed as a musician.
*Spend time creating and composing new songs through games and activities, including Crazy Critter Composing.  
*We make up songs about events that happen each day.

Andrew was great to work with in our first session very clear about goals and had a lot of interesting programs to work together to improve my acting skills. Cannot wait for the next session.

First class went great! Andrew is good at helping me get out of my comfort zone.  Can't wait for the next class!

Had fun and learned a lot my first lesson. Can't wait for my upcoming lessons to learn even more!

First attempt at on line lessons with are school age daughter!  She had fun and is looking forward to another lesson. I did not know what to expect, but found the process was great.   Great prep and follow up!

Great 1st lesson. Taught breathing exercises and sound exercises. Had lots of fun!

Andrew was great. My child was engaged the whole time and enjoyed the lesson

Andrew does an amazing job listening to what you are wanting to learn and then applying his expertise to those areas. He’s a constant cheerleader and always makes lessons so fun! I’ve enjoyed all my lessons and look forward to more!

He is a good teacher and a good teacher. He is kind, positive, and good at techniques. I have studied for a long time but every week, I keep looking forward to meeting him.

Mr. Andrew is kind, funny and engaging. 

My son (6) always has the best time at lesson and wants to know immediately when he gets to go back.

 Our son has a lot on his plate and watching him have something that's just his that he is happy to do and enjoys this has been such a bright spot for our whole family. 

- and Mr. Andrew is in direct correlation to that.
