Nathan is kind and encouraging. My son is enjoying the lessons and making progress towards playing tapas and reveille. He sounds good!! Online classes are convenient to add into a busy schedule.

This is the first lesson I got to listen to of my son working with Nathan. Usually I'm not home from work. I am really impressed with how much he was able to help my son improve so quickly. I wish we had started this much sooner.

Murray has a unique way of finding the way to teach an individual based on their strengths and weaknesses and how their brain thinks and learns. My 52 year old brain doesn't always get it but Murray always finds a way or technique for me to understand so that I can play and be the best that I can be whether I playing my drums or playing my cajon..

You've got to walk before you can run, so I focus on the basics. But, the basics can be a lot of fun! Especially once we start to apply them to your favorite songs, and being creative with them - that's kind of what it's all about!

About Mike

Learning to play an instrument is a mixture of a lot of fun, and a lot of hard work. My strength is finding what will inspire my students to WANT to put in those difficult hours of practice, and then showing them how to apply what they have learned in a creative way, so that they experience the fu

Amazing, patient really informative instructor and just a great guy. Highly recommend.

Mike was really the best instructor I could have asked for. Knowledgeable, patient, and best of all, chill when he needed to be. I was just picking up the drums for a high school band I was in at the time, and he was more than willing to help me learn whatever dumb song me or my band had decided sounded cool at the time. At the same time, he showed me a lot of really excellent practice techniques, directed me to some solid literature for different rhythms to work on, and would sit with me through a whole hour of my relentless mistakes like it was nothing. More than a good instructor, he's a really cool guy! He never missed a beat!

"Matt is AWESOME. He has been a great musical role model for me since day one. The knowledge that Matt has passed down to me has completely reallocated my purpose as a musician and challenged me to question my role as a drummer in an ensemble situation. What insight! I have absolutely no doubt that I will be prepared to confidently attend college university music ensembles in the next couple of months, because of Matt's mentorship and how it has inspired me (and of course, taught me how) to achieve my best. Matt has exposed me to styles of music I didn't even know existed. His talent is beyond the capacity of any other teacher I've had, and my family and I respect him very much. Very personable, easy-going, and intelligent. Thank you Matt, for everything. :)"

"Keith is an incredible instructor! At each lesson, he always makes you feel that making you a better drummer is more important than anything else for him during that 1/2 hour. I have been taking lessons from Keith for about 2 years. I am a 55 year old woman who took lessons as a child and wanted to continue learning where I left off so many years ago. Keith is exceptional at identifying your weak spots and giving you very helpful and practical techniques to strengthen them. With Keith as my instructor, I have learned to read music and my skill as a drummer has improved enormously. He has so much knowledge about all aspects of drumming. He is incredibly passionate about drumming as a performer, and conveys that same passion when teaching his students. He is just as effective with very young students as he is with older students (like me)! I would recommend him as an instructor to anyone with the desire to learn all aspects of becoming a drummer."

"Awesome teacher!

Since our son started drum lessons, his progress in the past six months with Steve blows away that of his previous four years under two other teachers. Steve stresses fundamental drum skills but also encourages implementation of those skills through songs that are enjoyable, engaging, and current.

Steve has also helped our son succeed outside of just the lesson room. He gave him invaluable tips to help him shine during his Rock School gig. He instilled him with insight and confidence as he prepared to audition for his school's advanced jazz band; when we told Steve that our son was one of only two seventh grade percussionists to make the mostly eighth-grade band, he exuded such genuine pride and joy in our son's accomplishment. As parents, Steve is exactly the kind of teacher we want for our child!"
