I have been playing chess for well over 30 years. I have taught one on one
children and adults for about 10 years. I have great patience when I teach
students never believing that any concept is too difficult to understand or
master. I have a love for the game that I want to instill in others
I have hundreds of chess books and have gotten to know lots of chessplayers
throughout the years. I do my best to have my students gain and UNDERSTANDING of the game rather than just rote memorization.

I am a certified tarot reader. If tarot cards intimidate you or you are just wanting to learn how to use the energies to help you grow spiritually on a daily basis, allow me to show you how these cards can have a tremendous positive impact on your daily life. Tarot cards get a bad rap from those who consider them to be some form of occult or other such practices. Truth is, these cards can be used for meditation, self growth, and guidance on a daily basis. These cards DO NOT have negative connotations or energies. They are merely a tool to help us better ourselves and gain insight into our own psyche. I can help you learn and/or get a reading if you may not be feeling ready to become a student of tarot just yet! Feel free to connect with me and we can discuss options such as a one card or three card reading or a lesson plan to help you read for yourself and others.

Dr. Suman is one of the most amazing people I have worked with. Her knowledge in the field is unmatched, but, I loved working with her because she is patient, kind, very compassionate, and will do all it takes to help her students. Please work with her if you are looking for someone to help you get off the diet cycle and learn to eat for your health. She does not stand for fads and will help you see results.

I have taught fashion sewing in the NYC garment district for 11 years. Students ranged from teens to adults, aspiring designers, those interested in better-fitted clothes or in saving money with simple alterations. The method we use is very simple working on basic projects to increased skills as projects progress. I love sewing because it’s therapeutic and rewarding. Getting a compliment on something I’ve made is rewarding especially when followed with, “Thank you. I made it.” Sewing truly is something you can control when the world feels out of control.

When I teach classes it is so important to me that everyone completes a project no matter what. Learning a new skill takes requires willingness, a great teacher with patience and a cheerleader.

I love...love...love crocheting. It's so much fun and a relaxing creative time. I have been crocheting since I was 9 years old. I am left-handed. I started out making chains. My mother taught me a few stitches like granny squares and octagons. And then I began teaching myself to read the patterns. I have been reading patterns for over 10 years now. I would love to share my love of this craft with you. Contact me and let's get started!

5 Questions Every Jewelry Designer Should Have An Answer For

Interested in trying your hand at jewelry design? Before you begin, consider the following 5 questions, as outlined by Nashville jewelry designer and teacher Warren F...
