I am an experienced Crochet teacher and am certified to teach crochet by the Craft Yarn Council of America. My goal is to educate and preserve for future generations the appreciation of crocheting as a fiber art that provides stress relief, is a creative outlet, and provides a sense of accomplishment.

I truly enjoy teaching others to crochet and have enjoyed 15 years of helping new crafter's confidence soar and creativity grow while teaching crochet in various venues throughout Los Angeles and Orange Counties including Pasadena City College, Monrovia Adult School, the City of Santa Fe Springs, City of Glendale, City of Orange and City of Whittier.

Since 2004 I’ve taught hundreds of people the craft of crochet. While developing a well-organized teaching approach, creating effective lesson plans and fun methods of teaching basic to advanced techniques and sharpening my ability to tailor my teaching skills to fit the needs of all students I’ve learned that there’s no wrong way to ...

I can teach you to crochet just about anything. Once you have a firm foundation with an understanding of each of the common stitches, you can follow most patterns. I can also teach you to read patterns which can often be confusing and full of technical terms and abbreviations. In no time, you'll be confidently creating all kinds of crocheted art!

About Rachel

For as long as I can remember, I've loved playing the piano. As a little kid, I would bang on the keys on my grandmother's piano and try to teach myself songs (despite not being able to read music). I started taking formal lessons when I was 10 years old and continued for 9 years. I have been trai

"Donna is a great sewing teacher! She worked with my 11-year-old and was patient, clear, and engaging. Being 11, my daughter was underprepared, but Donna had a project lined up for her. Donna taught skills she hadn’t learned or mastered like zippers, buttons, ironing, and fabric choice.

I highly recommend Donna. And will be taking lessons from her myself!"

"I'm not one to write reviews but here goes nothing. I consider myself a pretty good pool player but wanted to sharpen my game. after a few lessons I must say I became a better pool player than I thought I was. One thing I liked was that when he showed me something it was repeated until I got it. He was a great teacher and you can tell he loved the game. I gave him five stars because he was knowledgeable and patient showing me different shots and techniques over and over till I perfected them."

"Coach Siddharth was my daughter’s chess coach this past spring. He coached the beginner students and was extremely patient and kind while the students got up to speed with the rest of the group. He is very knowledgeable and his passion for the game can be seen through demonstration of various strategies he teaches. This was my daughter’s first experience with chess club. She learned so much and had her first check mate!"

5 Questions Every Jewelry Designer Should Have An Answer For

Interested in trying your hand at jewelry design? Before you begin, consider the following 5 questions, as outlined by Nashville jewelry designer and teacher Warren F...
