I've had a lifetime of experience teaching private lessons on the harmonica and have the skills it takes to help you through the process of learning to play in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. I've been a full time musician my entire adult life teaching and performing on stage, the studio and the classroom.

About Clint

"The Harmonica is my specialty as a professional performer and teacher. It's not my 2nd or 3rd instrument, but my primary one that I've spent a lifetime mastering. I've been teaching, performing and recording on the harmonica for over 30 years and I'm an expert on both the chromatic harmonica and t

I am a novice harp player and have been taking lessons from Clint for about 5 months. He provides customized lesson (not out of a book) based on your skills and interests. I have had 3 music instructors in my life and he is by far the best and most supportive. Only teaches harmonica and is a true professional. On top of that he's a great guy to spend an hour with - Dave

The things students would expect from me in a lesson would be the concept of keeping time with a metronome. Playing grooves that the student enjoys to hear. Using rudiments which would build creativity in the students playing. Exercises that building the strength of the student's wrist . The basic concepts of reading sheet music . And mainly to have fun playing over songs the student loves listening to.

I make sure to base my sessions on personal learning style, and adjust each lesson to best benefit every individual student. I introduce topics in an engaging way, before explicitly teaching materials.

I am an advocate of active learning, where the student and I work through problems in a judgement free and encouraging environment. I also use “reverse teaching”, a method in which students learn something and then teach it back to me. This allows the student to demonstrate their mastery of concepts.

In addition, I help interested students learn how to write. I guide without taking control, which allows my students to develop skills they can carry on with them throughout the rest of their lives.

About Dania

Nice to meet you, I’m Dania! I studied music and biochemistry at UPenn, and have 6 years of tutoring experience. I make sure to base my sessions on personal learning style, and adjust each lesson to best benefit every individual student. I hope we can both have fun, and learn together!

Dania is patient and VERY effective. I've enjoyed every lesson with her! She's truly caring and invested in my growth as a pianist; if I ever don't understand a concept she makes sure that I have all the help I need, breaking down even the most trivial and minute concepts. She's very talented and a genuinely thoughtful instructor; I'd recommend her to anyone.

"Lynn is stellar. Her background and training are substantial and impressive. She is prompt, courteous, calm and absolutely wonderful with our daughter (Age 9) who has challenges focusing and staying on task. Lynn is kind, but navigates the lessons confidently, fluidly and with a focused energy. She works with our daughter's playfulness, incorporates humor and positive, encouraging energy into every lesson. Our daughter has shown signs of great improvement with Lynn. Lynn assigns tasks and practicing points each week for our daughter to work on which are balanced and also bring in a component of improvisation, which is SO helpful for kids who have challenges with focusing. Lynn is awesome, highly recommend!"

8-Year-Old Girl is Gnarliest Guitar Shredder Ever

I'm willing to bet that "playing like a girl" will stop being an insult within this little lady's lifetime! At just 8 years old, Lisa-X is able to play rapid fire metal solos that will melt your face off and blow your mind. She's smaller than her guitar, but she sure knows how to make it sound big and mighty. Plus, the sweet grin she gives the camera as she's bending a note around 1:46? Priceless! Child prodigies like Lisa are absolutely amazing, but there's really no wrong age to sta …
