Hi there! Thank you for considering me in your search for a voice instructor. As a voice teacher and vocal coach, I sincerely belief that anyone who possesses the true desire and drive can learn to sing and use their voice to it's fullest potential. Vocal technique, especially for singing, isn't something you must simply be born with, it is something you can learn! I provide a safe, encouraging, and instructive space in which to try new things so you can discover your own unique voice and talent. With proper training and practice, you will discover that you really can do it! If you have the passion and the drive to stick to it and work hard, you can sing the music you’ve always dreamed of. Broadway and Musical Theater are special loves of mine and I have been both performing and teaching students of all ages for more than 10 years. I have a BA in Music and Vocal Performance with a background in Vocal Pedagogy and Classical Technique. I offer competitive pricing and both in-person as well as remote private lessons so you can learn from the comfort and safety of your own home! I love helping students grow, overcome their own vocal challenges, and reach their singing goals in a way that is fun, empowering, affirming, and inspiring. I love how excited my students get every time they make a new breakthrough and find they can now do with ease something they may have thought was impossible for them before! I have worked with students of all ages at a variety of skill levels. Everything from absolute beginners to advanced performers who are looking to improve their technique and vocal health. My sweet spot is any student who needs a little help finding their musical confidence, building good vocal habits, and/or infusing their natural love of singing with the technique needed to overcome vocal challenges and take them to the next level. I also have extensive, multi-genre performance experience as a soloist and collaborative vocalist in musical theater, rock and jazz bands, a capella singing groups, and choral music. Therefore, I understand the needs and challenges of the performer and am able to equip students with the tools they need to meet and sustain their performance goals.

It is my job to teach you the physical coordination of healthy singing technique. How to hear and feel your voice so you can sing more freely than ever before! The voice is our most personal form of expression and everyone has some degree of judgment of their own voice. Even the most successful vocalists can struggle with doubt regarding their voice. My role is to help you understand your voice and learn to sing what it is you want to be able to sing with confidence. I create a supportive and comfortable environment so that you are assured to receive the greatest benefit and success. With the methods I teach you will expand your range, vocal power, tonal quality, intonation, and develop a unified tone connecting your vocal registers. You will gain greater agility singing vocal riffs and runs, develop a more consistent and natural vibrato, and a deeper level of emotional performance. And much greater confidence! I have over 25 years professional singing experience as a performer, recording artist, and session singer. I have been fortunate to work with some of the greatest producers and musicians in pop and rock over my years as a singer and.have trained under world renowned vocal coaches. The methods I teach benefit singers of all musical genres including Pop, Rock, R & B, Soul, Country, and Musical Theater. I teach students of all levels from beginners to lifelong professional singers.

Hello fellow singers! My goal is to help you refine your own unique instrument and help you to express a story and art through the voice! I grew up taking piano lessons and singing in my church and school choir. I always had a love for all classical music and soon enough fell in love with opera! I begin taking classical voice lessons at the age of 15 and soon realized that my heart and soul belonged to opera and had to continue my studies a lot more in depth. I went to UCLA where I received my Bachelor of Arts with my emphasis in Opera Performance. Throughout the years spent at UCLA, I not only continued to sing with choral groups, but also performed in every opera. I sang one of the principles roles in Ravel's L'enfant et les sortilèges, and sang one of the principles roles in many opera scenes such as Dorabella from Così fan tutte, Mercedes in Carmen, Second Lady in The Magic Flute, Nerone in L'incorazione di Poppea. Since I graduated college I have collaborated with nationally known directors, conductors, and voice teachers such as Peter Kazaras, James Darrah, Bruce Stasyna, Juliana Gondek, and Enrique Toral. I have sang in Master Classes given by Susan Graham and Bradley Moore. I have performed roles with Astoria Music Festival, Miami Music Festival, Opera NEO, and San Diego Opera. As a teacher my job is to use my knowledge and experience to help my students learn to sing with as much ease as possible, while refining the instrument for the classical repertoire. I not only focus on technique, but also diction and artistry, because as singers we are story tellers.
