Paul is an amazing musician, teacher and individual. Over the course of a few weeks he specifically evaluated my singing and worked with me in order to improve my singing. With every lesson that I had, I was able to notice real improvement in my voice. Paul also exposed me to a wide array of musical styles, in order to better get to know my voice which I thoroughly enjoyed. He is very encouraging and friendly, from the first lesson he already works to help you feel comfortable.

All in all, by having Paul as an instructor you get to learn from an amazing, accomplished musician who truly knows his field and who also has a great personality while being a great teacher, I think that sums it up pretty well.
Gregory H. Astoria, NY

About Gregory

As a younger brother at the age of five, I began studying the piano because my older sister did. After my foundation in music strengthened I fell in love with the trumpet. At first, each note took time to develop and I enjoyed the challenge. The trumpet allowed me to travel all over the Southeast later in life and even to China with a 1940's Radio Show. I enjoyed many top-level bands the kindled my love and passion for good music. I want to share that kindling with my students in a nurturing and guiding situation, just like my teachers gave me. I used to go to lessons and become so motivated and inspired that I thought I could change the world. I always knew that I would want to give back exactly that. As my performance opportunities grew into venues like Churchill ...

Very caring and talented instructor.

My daughter and I have been taking lessons from Kira for a little over a year, we couldn't be happier! We are learning by way of the Suzuki Method. My daughter was five when we started.
Kira is adept at explaining things in ways we can both understand. She is very intuitive and switches up the lessons to keep my daughter excited and engaged. We consider her a gem of a teacher, a rare find.

I have had three classes so far with David, but already from the first class I knew he was supreme! He is an excellent teacher and an excellent musician. What keeps impressing me is his ability in understanding exactly what I am doing wrong while I play just by hearing the sound of the trumpet. Super!

Monica is an outstanding voice teacher. She customized each lesson, from warm ups to repertoire choices, to fit the age, skill level, vocal strengths, and interests of each singer. Watching her work with high school age students is a joy--she loves what she does and the students respond very well to her. They are enthusiastic about going to their lessons and beaming when the lessons are over. Monica brings her strong vocal pedagogy knowledge, along with her own talent and passion for teaching to the voice lesson. She is a wonderful instructor. Highly recommend!

Besides being a fantastic vocalist, Monica is also a great teacher. She is very creative, patient and calm (no drama), but is still disciplined and persistent. She managed to get basic music theory into my thick skull and help me with sight reading, and did not yell at me when I didn't do my homework! The only downside is that she is so talented and well trained that she makes singing look effortless.

Monica is such a fantastic teacher. She is one of those people who really listens to the needs of the student, and gives her all at every lesson. Through her knowledge and experience, Monica has rebuilt my voice and my confidence from the bottom up. I highly recommend working with her!
