"Great tutor." - Gerald G.Cibolo, TX on 6/19/13
Tim was an excellent tutor for my teenage son. He was always on time for their tutoring sessions, very accomendating to our busy schedule, and was very patient with my student. Tim adjusted and flexed to my son's tutoring needs. Tim changed channels and assisted with English as well as with Spanish as my son's studying needs dictated. He challenged my son and taught him how to determine the answer; he did not just give my son the answers. My student received fantastic scores on his homework and tests after studying with Tim. My son and I are very pleased with Tim as a tutor; I think you will be, too. We recommend Tim to meet your tutoring needs.

My 8-year-old has been taken the lessons from him since March of last year and it has been an amazing journey for her taking his lessons.
He is calm, patient and very talented.

I took 8 years of Spanish classes and lived in Ecuador where I used Spanish on a daily basis.
My teaching philosophy is to help students engage in learning. I find that a personal connection to new information makes it more engaging and meaningful, and students remember it better too. It's also more fun.
That being said, if learning is more readily achieved for your student through other methods, we will do whatever works best. I cater to results, because my ultimate goal is the student's success.
I am a tutor who earned a music teaching degree, substitute taught, and didn't become a school teacher. I held professional tech retail jobs and am supplementing my life with my passion - education.
Whatever subject or instrument I teach, I celebrate students' successes; and I enjoy helping learners have new aha moments.
The majority of my students take guitar, bass guitar, or Spanish lessons. I am an educator and help my students learn other skills and knowledge sets too.
I went to Ohio State University for college, earned a BA in Music Education, and graduated Cum Laude. I also spent 4 years in the Ohio State University Marching Band.
Through my healing journey, I've developed patience, insight, and understanding for my students' learning processes.
I'm excited to help you incorporate new skills into your life!

Teaching language is a passion, not only a profession. When you teach language you have to engage students in the culture, to spark motivation and broaden horizons, to promote diversity and tolerance. My bachelors is in Psychology from my country of origin, but coming to this country I began working in language when looking for bilingual opportunities for my own children. Not being able to find the right person I decided to study so I could provide the best learning experience to my own children and that became my new career more than fifteen years now. I have traveled through Latin America and gained cultural and academic knowledge. I have owned a language program for ten years and trained and supervised hundreds of language teachers and enjoyed thousands of young and old students' language accomplishments. I have also had the hon
or and the privilege of teaching language to the military for almost eight years, developing curriculum for all levels and all ages. Every student is a new opportunity to inspire and improve a life. I look forward to that every day.

I have had Diana as a tutor for a full month. She has excellent understanding of the grammar, and a born ability to teach. She would always make me work to remember what i learnt so that the lessons would stick with me. More importantly though, she was able to make lessons fun and engaging, which goes a long way in the difficulty of learning a new language. I strongly recommend her!

Great teacher, As someone who was new to Spanish, she made the learning process fun and casual, making sure that I was comfortable in the classroom. I appreciated that she changed things up and was open to new ways of teaching. She also made sure I was learning and not just having fun, which is an important difference to note as it seems some teachers will prioritize fun over learning. Diana managed to keep the fun and learning very well balanced. Overall, a very good teacher and guide for me as I was just beginning to learn Spanish, which in my opinion, seems to be the most difficult time in the language learning process. Highly recommend.

My daughter had a birthday party and she told me all she wanted to do was have her friends come over and have someone teach them dance, and an overall fun dance party at the end! So we went on here and reached out to Melanie and see how she felt about it, she was all in and excited. She came that day and they all had so much fun, and then every so often when the girls come for sleepovers, we contact Melanie to come teach them classes and even do make-up with the girls as she is so skilled at many things! Can't wait to have her over again!

I loved the way Melanie taught and listened to my mother. I set her up for strength and conditioning classes simply to keep her moving more as she is older. She would give my mother exercises for her body to help her stay strong and then again my mother would look forward to her classes each week. Very motivating and inspiring she is!

Melanie is the best Spanish Teacher I have ever had. I had taken classes from others for many years and still struggled with the language. I wanted to hold a little more conversation in Spanish and advance to the levels like I did in her classes. Such a happy and fun instructor! Thank you Señora Melanie.
