Hello, my name is Max, and I would love to teach you Spanish. Spanish has been one of my passions for over 6 years, and I have poured my heart into studying this beautiful language. I have become very proficient over the years, and I would like to impart my knowledge to an interested learner. Through learning the language from an English speaker's perspective, I have learned how to approach learning this language better for a non-native speaker. I have thorough knowledge of the language's grammar and awareness of distinct vocabulary of many Latin American countries. I have additionally taught Spanish in an elementary school, middle school, and I have had many private students over the years I am a passionate and patient teacher, and I am willing to teach anyone eager to learn.

I am a native from Cuba, so my first language is Spanish. Everyone in my house speaks Spanish and I would like to teach Spanish to those who need Spanish in this fast-growing economy that is really in need of new Spanish-speakers in order to compete within the working industries. I took all 5 years of Spanish in Elementary (as expected), 3 years of Spanish in middle school, and 1 year of Spanish in High School. For middle school, I received an excellence award for having the best grades and the best test scores out of all the Spanish students in my school. I’m a very patient person and I love helping others, so I expect my students to learn a lot from me. This is because I have a lot of knowledge in the Spanish language and a lot of passion for extending the Spanish-speaking fluency.

"Great tutor."
- Gerald G.Cibolo, TX on 6/19/13
Tim was an excellent tutor for my teenage son. He was always on time for their tutoring sessions, very accomendating to our busy schedule, and was very patient with my student. Tim adjusted and flexed to my son's tutoring needs. Tim changed channels and assisted with English as well as with Spanish as my son's studying needs dictated. He challenged my son and taught him how to determine the answer; he did not just give my son the answers. My student received fantastic scores on his homework and tests after studying with Tim. My son and I are very pleased with Tim as a tutor; I think you will be, too. We recommend Tim to meet your tutoring needs.
