Got your eye on the big solo, or an amazing program, but don't know where to begin on applying and auditioning? Let me help! I'll provide assistance all the way through the often very confusing and stressful process - from choosing repertoire, to writing thank-you notes. Unlike more generalized voice lessons, Audition Prep lessons teach solid technique through the lens of audition repertoire, specifically chosen based on the individual's needs and audition requirements. This can really be anything- from Musical Theatre to choral, or even pre-college/undergraduate program applications. I will also help with every step along the way: letters of recommendation, personal statements, resumes/CVs, headshots, video recording etc. I'll do everything I can to make sure you feel supported and secure during a very vulnerable process.
Interested in competing but don't know where to begin? I can help with that, too! One of the upsides to this whole mess of a year is that many competitions have ...

I believe that every student is unique and deserves specific teaching catered to their individual musical needs. Many teachers, I find, try to impose their methods and feel there is no room for exceptions.

Our family was amazed at the immediate progress! David is patient and able to adjust concepts to the child’s level for easy absorption and application. I can say from first hand experience that school music lessons may be fine, but there is no comparison to the one-on-one attention of an expert flutist! Thank you David!"
Thanks You Paul!"
