I am in my 40s and getting back into playing after taking lessons for a year 10 years ago and quitting (like most people). Madyson is very patient and tailors lessons to what her students are into. It has been a mix of both traditional lessons along with just helping me strum my favorite camp fire kind of music making the lessons engaging and allot of fun. Highly recommend for either kids or adults! I find I make myself practice for 10 minutes each night and then 10 minutes becomes 2 hours because I am having so much fun with it thanks to Madyson's great work!
Clarisa
Mady is excellent. She is so fun to work with. She’s a really unique person and that shines through in her teaching!
Kylie
I took very basic guitar lessons years ago and promptly forgot everything I learned. Madyson was so patient with me and has helped me relearn some of what I forgot years ago! I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for lessons.

I am section violist in the Nashville Symphony Orchestra and I have played extensively with the Cincinnati, Indianapolis and Chautauqua Symphony Orchestras. I received my bachelors degree and artist diploma from the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music where I studied with Masao Kawasaki and Jan Gruning.

I believe that every student is unique and deserves specific teaching catered to their individual musical needs. Many teachers, I find, try to impose their methods and feel there is no room for exceptions.

About Emilio

Hi! My name is Emilio, I am a section viola player in the Nashville Symphony Orchestra. Prior to this, I was a member of the viola section in the Dayton Philharmonic. I studied music and education at Kent State University, obtaining a bachelor's degree in 2006. Musical instruction is therapeutic for some, for for others it can be a journey to some destinatio

Hayes is super helpful and encouraging. I walked in feeling a little intimidated because I haven't really played in 30 years. He made me feel very comfortable and motivated. Good first lesson.

As a middle-aged guy who has played drums all my life, I wanted to add the bass guitar to my repertoire. Hayes is exactly the right guy and was able to show me how to get off to a quick start and then be able to add to my skills as I keep playing. I would recommend him highly!

The bass lessons with Stephen has been great so far. He is very skilled and carries himself in a professional way. He took the time to teach the basic theory of music and bass guitar. He showed our student the easiest and right way to handle the guitar and dos and don'ts. The lessons so far has be great and my student is really enjoying these classes. I wished there were more teaches like Stephen that can teach our students in our instruments we need.

Michael is an incredible teacher. My fiance has never played a musical instrument before in his life and I got him a few lessons for his birthday. At first, I wasn't sure how virtual music lessons would go, but Michael is by all accounts, an incredibly engaging, funny, and knowledgeable instructor. My fiance looks forward to his weekly lessons with Michael. In particular, he enjoys learning about the history of this incredible instrument alongside the actual music theory and practical aspects of learning a new instrument.

It has been truly incredible to witness my fiance transform in a few short weeks from someone scared of learning a new instrument to someone who is confident that he can learn a new skill provided he puts in the time and effort to practice and show up! Michael has given him the confidence and the inspiration to make amazing progress as a student.

I highly recommend Michael as an instructor. He really makes the virtual format work and he knows how to introduce beginner musicians to the joys of learning how to express yourself on an instrument.
