As the current bassist for Lady Antebellum I have a huge amount of experience and knowledge about the music business and the ins and outs of being a working musician. As a college graduate with a degree in music I have the ability to teach music theory, music reading, and correct bass technique which is pivotal in becoming the best player you can be. Its fun to just learn songs that you like, but doing that while learning correct positioning and execution is the way to truly master it.

I am 48 years old and have been playing Bass since 9 years of age. I’ve played classical and jazz professionally since I was 14 years old. I play Electric as well as String Bass. I am currently a resident Bassist at the legendary Preservation Hall Jazz Club in New Orleans LA since year 2000. I tour extensively having performed in many countries around the world. I teach adults as well as children and feel it is an opportunity for me to give back to the world that which music and more specifically the Bass has given me.

I have over thirty years experience of both playing and teaching brass instruments. Whether it be for fun or for a more serious intention , I can really help make learn the euphonium both a enjoyable and worthwhile experience for you..Learning all types of music and styles is a specialty of my teaching ..
