Book NowAs the current bassist for Lady Antebellum I have a huge amount of experience and knowledge about the music business and the ins and outs of being a working musician. As a college graduate with a degree in music I have the ability to teach music theory, music reading, and correct bass technique which is pivotal in becoming the best player you can be. Its fun to just learn songs that you like, but doing that while learning correct positioning and execution is the way to truly master it.

He is classically trained, but now spends most of his time in the world of New Orleans jazz. This means I get a teacher who knows how to teach structure and fundamentals necessary to build a solid foundation, AND style and technique for different genres. Also, he's just a really nice guy! Thanks!

Another great,educational,informative lesson!"

My daughter has taken group and individual music lessons with Jose for three years. He is a teacher that meets students at their instructional level and motivates them to give their best effort in their learning. He also encourages my daughter with singing; he gives her vocal lessons in addition to guitar and piano. Jose also offers my daughter a safe learning environment. As a parent of a teenager, I greatly appreciate his patience with my daughter."
