About Eric
For over 30 years, I've had the privilege to have worked with thousands of performers who study with me from all over the world. I teach in-studio at my two locations in Houston and in The Woodlands, Texas. I also work with students who come to me from all over the globe via online over-the-web Skype lessons.

Originally from Detroit, I enjoyed being a "Jack of all styles" singer/musician for over 15 years. I was a professional musician performing Classical, Jazz, Pop, Rock, Gospel, Musical Theater, Commercial and Studio work, along with being very involved in Contemporary Christian music. While I very much loved to perform, I found myself drawn much more to the joy of teaching. Vocal instruction and improvisational piano teaching eventually became my passion, and so I've poured my time and energies into teaching singers and players to
become, well… better musicians!

I have been singing in Choirs and Bands for a number of years and learned more about my voice and singing properly in a 45 minute session with Eric than I have in all my years of performing. I now understand why I have been struggling to sing in my upper register and Eric has put together a personalized program to help me develop my voice and gain back my vocal range. Eric has a great sense of humor and made the session very enjoyable as well as informative. I look forward to my next session and would highly recommend Eric as an instructor.

About Lars
My name is Lars and I am looking forward to teaching you guitar. I've been teaching guitar for about 5 years. I fully believe that anybody can learn to play well, if they work hard, stick with it and has a passion for it. Because I did. It took a lot of work for me and did not come easy. It's never easy, nor should it be, because a person is learning something real and not just pushing buttons. But the rewards of getting better are fantastic, a sense of accomplishment and confidence is being built in a person as a result of hard work. And of course it's really fun and in my opinion the best thing in the world. The starting age doesn’t matter, old or young, a person can get so much out of music on so many levels.
In addition to music, I also teach the Swedish language, (conversation only) and Tennis. I was born and raised in Stockholm, S
weden. Grew up playing tennis, was a competitive junior player and also played briefly on the circuit. I’ve been coaching tennis in Atlanta since 1989. I worked at clubs, swim/tennis neighborhoods and independently. While having been a touring musician I found the sports side being very complementary to it and probably kept me out of more trouble at times.

Looking forward to meeting you.

Cheers

About Jane
If you are traveling to Korea, visiting, working, studying, or just interested in the language, Korean, I can help you talk to native Koreans. I've lived in Korea for 25 years and wanted to be a Korean teacher. While I was in college, I did volunteer work helping foreigners that lived there learn Korean. I also helped my husband study Korean during the time he was stationed there in the Army. I taught them many things including pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, and speaking formalities. Before all the above, the very first thing you need to do is studying the Korean alphabet, Hangeul. Knowing the alphabet, Hangeul will enable you to read every single word and sentences with no problem. As an English learner, I do understand difficulties learning a foreign language.
I like helping other people, learning things, and teaching others my k
nowledge. I love languages and especially my native, The Korean language. That’s the reason why I’ve tutored students in Korean till now, and I’m so happy to be a helper for those who are interested in my country or Korean language. I’m eager to try different ways to teach not to be stuck with the same teaching-learning method. Also, I prefer studying a language using real-life examples to that only from books. I look for sources for Korean learning in real life to teach students real Korean in fun ways. Lesson materials are provided, but you can also share your book or things you want to learn in the lesson. Lessons are taught with the provided lesson materials, but your needs can be treated in the lesson as well. I want to be a teacher who is sometimes like a friend! It’s okay to text me when you have any questions related to Korean outside your lesson time. You may need a partner to work on your conversation skills, maybe preparing for working or study abroad, or just interested in learning a new language. I’ve coached students to achieve all the above. Whether young or old, man or woman, you are welcome if you have a willingness to learn the language, so let me know. I’ll do my best to teach you Korean till you achieve your goals. Let's get started!
