I always say to students, it's not WHAT you're playing, it's HOW you're playing it that is the sign of a good player. Technique -- the HOW -- is extremely critical, before one can play pieces -- the WHAT -- well. Lessons with me involve establishing a solid basis of technique, also learning to read music rather than playing only by ear, and of course, learning pieces. Get ready for a wonderful journey of discovery about the intricacies, difficulties, AND rewarding joys of playing the viola!

Stan is very knowledgeable about singing, and he teaches more than just voice lessons. It seems like he looks for the best in you as an artist, and try to take it to another level. I'm a new student of his, and it's been great so far. Looking forward to the weekly lessons.

First lesson and am already super impressed. He really makes sure you not only learn how to play guitar, but that you understand why playing is so important. For any musician that is going to add guitar to their repertoire of instruments, he’s a must.

Vocal coaching has always been very dear to my heart, and it has served as the inspiration for my establishment of a successful private music school. There are no age limits or skill requirements for application. All you need is love for music and a genuine desire to study. So if you want to learn how to sing, we can start right now! I work with children and adults of all levels, putting emphasis on developing physical, emotional, and psychological freedom and flexibility of my students.
I’ve been involved in music my entire life, singing in school choir, studying percussion at Glier Kyiv Institute of Music, playing in all-female rockabilly band Rockland Ladies and writing songs for various solo projects. I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in voice performance and music education from Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts, and have over 10 years’ experience teaching voice to more than 200 students to date.

Personally, I am still surprised at the progress I have made in a few months singing with Katherine. I think the key reason I progressed so well is that Katherine has knowledge and experience to help develop voice from any level. Our lessons would start with a series of fun exercises, which I LOVE, to warm up and practice techniques, with half of the lesson dedicated to singing songs of my own choosing. Besides the technical knowledge, Katherine have given me a good balance of support, making me believe in my abilities, and specific guidance on how I can improve further. Our lessons have left me with a warm feeling and joy each time I was able to do something I hadn't imagined I could do before. Thank you!

I have been working with Katherine for more than 5 years now. She is a great teacher that finds an individual approach to each of her students. She chooses different ways of teaching for every individual that would make the most progress. Together, we practice and experiment all kinds of techniques that help me improve as a singer. Katherine improved my singing skills tremendously. We started from the beginner level and now I am an advanced vocalist. I started classes in Ukraine at Katherine's location, but two years ago I moved to US and now I am practicing online classes with her. It is as effective as in-class lessons. However, it is more doable and takes much less time! I am improving my skills as a vocalist and having a wonderful experience with such a high-qualified voice instructor without leaving my house.

"Excellent Teacher

Dave is able to work with me, a beginner, and provide me with enough challenge so that I keep learning and also keep interested in drums. He has a great sense of humor along with patience which is important with a teacher whom is teaching a beginner. At times he will also take out a guitar and play along which adds to the fun."

"Amazing!

Have you ever heard the expression, "those who can't, teach!"? Well you can disregard that in this case. As a newbie to vocal lessons; but as a veteran within the creative arts and business world, I can effortlessly say Keira knows what she's doing. With the educational aspects implemented, she helps you understand how everything works. Therefore allowing you to efficiently utilize your voice in a very fun and engaging manner.

I immediately walked away with a new sensation that I have never felt before, which was the amazing rush of singing in front of a complete stranger; and not in a karaoke type of way either. Even throughout the cracks and awkward pitches, I walked away having gained a new confidence and appreciation for singing. That's what it's all about!

So if you're seeking a coach - stop! - because she's not only a coach, but she is super talented to say the least and you'll have no choice but to become better when you soak up her knowledge. Not to mention, she's just a super cool person, so learn from her before she's too famous to have time!"
