Elizabeth is patient, kind, and does an excellent job coming up with analogies and exercises for her students. She always remembered what I liked to sing and what worked best for me and was unfailingly encouraging and positive. Not only is she great at what she does, but she always managed to bring a smile to my face. She is more than a great teacher and singer, but also a great person and mentor.

"Dora’s lessons are the highlight of the week, and my daughter can’t wait to see her. Dora teaches from her house, which provides a warm and comfortable environment for learning piano. With her warm personality, strong knowledge of music, and contemporary song picks, Dora quickly engaged my daughter and keeps her playing for the full half hour lesson. The workbooks and assignments clearly define specific skills and serve as benchmarks from which we can assess our daughter’s progress. So far, our daughter has shown much improvement and we can’t thank Dora enough."

"Jon is a very good teacher. He showed patience and persistence with my son, who was not the most motivated student I'm sure. Jon taught chord structure and basic theory and was verify good at keeping my son focused. In the year he gave instruction, my son progressed consistently. He enjoyed Jon's teaching techniques. I would recommend Jon without hesitation based on our positive experience with him."

"Maureen has improved my son Nate's trumpet playing immensely. Where before he had some difficulty hitting the high notes, and his playing was somewhat tentative, he now plays with greater confidence and in tune. I noticed his improvement shortly after he started being taught by Maureen - not only as he was going through the scales, but in all the songs he practices now. Being an improved player has had the effect of Nate practicing more now as well. Maureen has taught him the importance of practice, the discipline it takes to improve, and has really developed his interest in the instrument. All this is testament to Maureen's quality as an instructor. I highly recommend her!"
