I have sung and taught gospel for over 20 years. My parents are pastors and I have worked with several pastors on improving their music departments so I am intimately aware on how to increase your stage presence, awareness and proficiency.

About Danielle

I have been taking the world by surprise since the age of 4. I began studying at Queens College at 6 years old and was a recital pianist by the age of 12. I was a consumer of music, from the Music Theory lessons on Saturdays, piano lessons on Thursdays and voice lessons on Saturday afternoons, my l

Anybody can play a musical instrument. It’s my job to help students become better at playing their instrument.
For example, making sure they use their fingertips to press on the strings so their fingers do not interfere with the other strings while playing chords. Using a metronome to improve their timing, etc.
I’m in the process of developing a leveling system to help monitor progress. For example level 1 would include open position minor scales and level 2 would include open position major scales. I believe this system will not only help monitor progress but also give students a feeling of accomplishment.

About Robert

*** Travel Equipment *** I could provide strings, picks, and a notebook if necessary, but i would expect them to have their own guitar, an amplifier would be good for students with electric guitars but it isn't necessary, and possibly a notebook, a regular ruled notebook would be fine. *** Spec

Experienced Piano teacher of 5 years available for eager students of all experience levels and ages! I structure my lessons so students learn what they want to learn, while also building a strong foundation in their piano skills. I specialize in classical, gentle, and theatrical music. I typically use the Faber Piano Adventures series for beginning and some intermediate students, however I will choose a curriculum that fits the student. I supplement the series with works by classical composers or music theme songs from TV shows, Disney movies, or Broadway shows. I also have the following tools available to use during lessons: pianos, sheet music, and more.

About Rebekah

A graduate from College of the Ozarks, Rebekah earned her Music Theory and Composition Degree in May of 2018 and her Piano Pedagogy Certificate in the Fall of 2017. Since 2012, Rebekah has taught many students of all age groups. Her favorite part about teaching students of any age, is watching

No one is more organized than Rebekah. We loved her as our children's face-to-face instructor, and were worried that switching to online lessons would prove hectic and confusing for our children, but not so with Rebekah. Moreover, she combines flexibility with rigorous standards in a way we didn't think possible. She is an ideal teacher.
Andrew L.
She is unable to fully explain musical concepts. She plays to demonstrate these concepts very seldom. This lesson was the best so far, since she allowed me to play what I wanted to work on, but she seems to lack the ear to quickly understand each part. Her advice is limited in scope and usually vague.

"Amazing Instructor

Josh is an amazing guitar teacher. I would highly recommend him to anyone interested in learning guitar or music theory. He is thorough and able to explain concepts in multiple ways, until I am able to fully understand them. He is patient, even when we have to review something several times, before I understand it. He makes learning the guitar fun and interesting, which it should be!"

"Ramona is the best! I started lessons with her a few weeks ago and I am already improving tremendously. She's tailored everything to my skill level (I played piano as a child but forgot almost everything), and I'm learning theory and playing by ear. She's definitely an expert and I plan on working with her for a long time!"

"My children ages 6 and 8 had their first lessons with Allen this evening, and they both loved him, and loved the new things they have learned. They are both excited about practicing, and looking forward to their next lesson. I am also now motivated to make time to play, as life as a working parent has kept me from being able to practice. Allen is so incredibly talented and my kids responded really well with his teaching methods. They are genuinely excited and interested in learning more, and I am so thankful!"

"I took guitar lessons from Dan for many years. He helped me establish great fundamental techniques and made lessons fun. He would always ask what I wanted to learn about and made it a very personalized experience. Dan is the main reason I stuck with the instrument. I had taken guitar lessons prior but the instructor was dry and uninspired, switching to Dan was the best decision I could have made."

"My two girls loved piano lessons with Rae! She met them at their level and set them on different pieces to stop the feelings of competition we were struggling with our old teacher. It’s still always a challenge to get them to practice, but her lesson notes are clear so I even though I’m not musical at all, I know what they should be working on!"

5 Ways Learning Music Theory Can Make You a Better Singer

Do you love to sing? We'll take a wild guess and say it wasn't chord progressions and minor scales that caught your interest. But did you know reading music and understanding the theory behind it can actually help you as you learn how to sing?
