She was great! She was patient, kind, and honest. Unfortunately her schedule is tight but I would still recommend
Rebecca is not only professional and patient but she is an expert at identifying the best vocal exercises to address your specific weaknesses. She would make a perfect teacher for beginners, experienced singers and anyone in between. I've been a student for about 10 lessons and have noticed a big difference!

Daniel has an immense mental library of knowledge that can apply to numerous types and styles of music. It is obvious from the beginning that his passion is guitar/music. Though, sometimes it does get super technical with the Music Theory end of it just because he truly does have so much expertise. Very hard to find a teacher of this caliber anywhere, so let's stop wasting time and just hire the man (if he's even available)

"This instructor knows voices

I was amazed at how well Melissa could identify how to improve my voice! She knows how sounds are produced and is able to correct anything I'm doing wrong, from breathing to posture to shaping sounds in my mouth."

"One of the problems with musicians these days is a lack of formal training. Cris has spent the last 20+ years perfecting his abilities to teach music. In my opinion, Part of what makes Cris stand out from other instructors is his knowledge and open minded view of different styles of music. A teacher with a diverse musical background is ideal for a student who wants to create a good basis or reach the next level in their abilities. Cris is able to help you learn guitar the right way and set a path that will advance your abilities quicker than most other teachers."

"Candida is a very learned and talented vocal teacher. She has a vast amount of knowledge and is constantly expanding her understanding of vocal technique and pedagogy. This includes not just Western signing technique, but also an understanding of the importance of diverse and inclusive technique and de-colonizing classical singing technique.

Candida has identified the techniques I use when I sing and has suggested ways to improve while also constantly checking in to see how I want my voice to sound. She has been encouraging even during the times I lost motivation, and she has put so much work into our sessions. Candida created a personalized lesson plan with me to help keep my notes and progress organized. She has had to think of many different ways of presenting information to me when I have not understood how to use my voice in new ways, and she has never failed to find a way to explain how to create sound. Candida’s teaching does not simply focus on the voice but focuses on mental and physical wellness that is necessary in order to understand how to use the voice. I would recommend Candida to anyone."

"Fawn is wonderful, just wonderful! Got an issue with your voice? Solved. Problem with piano? Solved. Need to tighten up your songs or studio recordings? Solved. Not only is she super great at fine tuning and making you the best you can be, she gets to the root of the issues, which in my case stemmed from my childhood. She uprooted all that, helped me walk through and heal my past so I could free up my voice. Fawn is intuitive, kind hearted, humble, open, honest and an expert at making a person the best that they can be. I love her, and you will too. Truly the best! Thank you for everything Fawn!"

5 Keys to Mastering Opera Singing Technique

Opera singers are known as the true “vocal athletes” in the music world. They must rely entirely on their body to be heard: no microphones allowed. Although pop music dominates today’s televised talent shows and the radio, opera is still a celebrated art form that is more accessible than ever. Every year, many young singers begi …
