Very good instructor, I have had two lessons so far with Lawrence. The first lesson he introduced me to the type of software he uses, he referred me to certain websites I should check out, like chessgames.com where we analyzed some master games in the opening that I play and an overview of what we would cover in lessons. My second lessons we worked on some tactics and some positions because I wanted to focus on more of my middle game. And he also helped prepare me for an upcoming tournament I am playing in by going over my openings. His explanations are clear, and he provides many additional resources to explore and study.

"Vena is a phenomenal teacher. She really ensures that you understand the concepts fully when teaching and doesn't rush through anything to fit it within a certain time frame. In our first day, she helped me learn the semantics of patternmaking and sewing and apply it visually to a dress form! For any beginner or someone who needs to solidify their foundation, Vena is a great instructor!"

"I'm not one to write reviews but here goes nothing. I consider myself a pretty good pool player but wanted to sharpen my game. after a few lessons I must say I became a better pool player than I thought I was. One thing I liked was that when he showed me something it was repeated until I got it. He was a great teacher and you can tell he loved the game. I gave him five stars because he was knowledgeable and patient showing me different shots and techniques over and over till I perfected them."
