Neguine was great. Patient and easy-going. My son enjoyed the lesson and looks forward to the next one.

Neguine teaches piano to my two children, ages 8 and 6, and she’s been wonderful. She comes to our house and immediately the house is a calm friendly place to learn music. She’s patient with my kids who love piano but are still little, and she has a good sense of humor when they want to try something a little quirky. They also have been making great strides with sightreading, and their eagerness to learn more has only increased. Neguine also does not rush the kids: If a child needs to repeat part of a lesson for another week as she is good about making sure kids reinforce what they’re learning, which is something I appreciate, and my kids have learned to appreciate that too. I highly recommend her!

Philip is an excellent teacher and gave me very heloful pointers on my technique. I am an advanced player and have performed semi-professionally several times but hadn't learned proper technique in the past.

I plan to continue with him regularly to improve my technique and skill level.

Philip was so friendly and patient, and made my 7 year old very comfortable with her first lesson. He really knew how to speak on her level and his instruction was very positive and motivating. My daughter left the lesson very excited to start practicing what he showed her, and we can't wait till the next lesson!

Very helpful person to work with, understanding of my student's transportation difficulties and great about rescheduling. The girl likes him and is learning.

Also known as the Chinese zither, is a Chinese plucked string instrument with a more than 2,500-year history. The student would learn the basic of tuning, finger techniques/placement, notes, strumming, picking, reading, and playing songs. Advanced students would learn theory and soloing.

About Karen

Karen obviously loves the piano & guitar. She’s probably an excellent teacher for those instruments. Why do I say that? That’s what she talked about! She spent half my lesson trying to convince me to learn one of those instruments. Could work on listening skills! Not even sure if she owns a set of bongos herself. Didn’t start teaching me anything until last 10 min & then I had to leave early anyway. So 50 min out of 60 and about 5 I actually learned a few things I could have been practicing for at least 30 min of class. Use her if you want to learn something else other than bongos.

Ms. Karen did a pretty good job, she had ideas for the lesson and provided ideas for the next lesson. She went out of her way to help me with this new idea---------"music" and "reading music." If there was any short fall in the lesson it was on my side and my preparation failings. I have no problem recommending Ms. Karen to others. Regards, JC

Extremely knowledgeable! Karen is a superb guitar instructor. Honestly, I was struggling. Discouraged! She helped me understand my strengths and weaknesses, and moved me from beginner to intermediate in a matter of months. If you’re getting tired of learning from YouTube and smart phone apps, let Karen kick start your guitar playing. You’ll be glad you did. Thanks Karen!!

"I have been studying Hindi with Prajakta for less than 2 months and I have already learned a huge amount. She is a very effective teacher. As a retired professor, I especially appreciate the organization of her classes, the knowledge she brings to the table, the perfect mix of repetition, reinforcement and novelty in every class, and the way she maintains my interest (and her enthusiasm) during a whole hour. Thank you!"

"Elsa was an amazing French instructor for my daughters. She is patient (so so patient!!) and always positive and happy. She was always perfectly on time and prepared completely for each and every lesson. Above all, she really engaged my girls with the French curriculum each week and they never complained about having their lessons. Elsa used a combination of books, songs, and online material to keep the lessons moving at pace and was brilliant at gauging when my girls needed to switch things up. She really made every lesson fun! I strongly recommend her to anyone."
