As a teacher, I'm very proactive, which means I never settle with just a book! I enjoy creating exercises and strategies according to my students' needs and preferences. This includes incorporating music, literature, movies and games to the daily lesson. As a teacher, I'm very patient and I consider highly important to follow each step on the student's learning process.

As a native speaker with fluency in English and deep knowledge of grammar and phonetics, I can guarantee my students will learn the proper pronunciation of the Spanish/English sounds and the semantics of the target language lexicon. I'm also highly educated to teach all levels. I'm very comfortable teaching all advanced subjects as I am teaching the basics.

Writing is a skill Spanish students don't get to practice often enough. In this class, I will provide you with different writing prompts and give you time to write a few sentences or paragraphs. After that, you can volunteer to share your writing and get feedback from me and your classmates. You will benefit from listening to feedback given to your classmates as well!
This class will not only improve your writing skills in Spanish but also your sentence formation, overall fluency and help you increase your vocabulary.

My language lessons are customized to my student's needs and preferences. 
When teaching Spanish I don't only focus on teaching the grammar and vocabulary but also on transmitting my culture as I introduce you to Spanish literature, movies from different Spanish speaking countries and also Spanish music. After all, there's a lot more to Spanish culture than soap operas!

Teaching Spanish in New York city gives me the opportunity to create situations of Spanish immersion for you, we can always select different  Spanish locations in the city to practice lesson topics such as "asking for directions", "shopping", and so forth.

Giving Your Opinion in Spanish: How to Agree & Disagree

In this video, we look at the time expressions used in Spanish for the Simple Past tense (also known as Pretérito Indefinido).
