As a teacher, I'm very proactive, which means I never settle with just a book! I enjoy creating exercises and strategies according to my students' needs and preferences. This includes incorporating music, literature, movies and games to the daily lesson. As a teacher, I'm very patient and I consider highly important to follow each step on the student's learning process.

As a native speaker with fluency in English and deep knowledge of grammar and phonetics, I can guarantee my students will learn the proper pronunciation of the Spanish/English sounds and the semantics of the target language lexicon. I'm also highly educated to teach all levels. I'm very comfortable teaching all advanced subjects as I am teaching the basics.

My language lessons are customized to my student's needs and preferences. 
When teaching Spanish I don't only focus on teaching the grammar and vocabulary but also on transmitting my culture as I introduce you to Spanish literature, movies from different Spanish speaking countries and also Spanish music. After all, there's a lot more to Spanish culture than soap operas!

Teaching Spanish in New York city gives me the opportunity to create situations of Spanish immersion for you, we can always select different  Spanish locations in the city to practice lesson topics such as "asking for directions", "shopping", and so forth.

I’ve taken classes for years both online and in person, and Isa is the only Spanish teacher I’ve stayed with the whole time, which is a reflection of how highly I think of her as an instructor. Vocabulary Bank: Adjectives and Adverbs in Spanish

In this video, we look at the time expressions used in Spanish for the Simple Past tense (also known as Pretérito Indefinido). I encourage you to use these expressions to write sentences about yourself, or better yet, keep a Spanish journal and jot down a few sentences about your day on a regular basis.

It's practice time! In this video, we focus on writing and fluency. I will present you with different writing prompts in Spanish and give you the correct sentence structure to begin writing. Write as much or as little as you like and look up words you don't know. This is an excellent way to increase your fluency (both speaking and writing... yes, speaking too!) and augment your Spanish vocabulary.
