My name is Jackie! Thanks for clicking my profile! I am an experienced ASL teacher and interpreter. I received my associates degree from the Interpreting Training Program. I have taught sign language in several settings staring with ages 5 and up. I am passionate about ASL and I can't wait to be your teacher. I'm fun and energetic so having a class with me will never be boring!

I truly love and appreciate ASL! I would love the opportunity to teach others this amazing language. I am patient and have taught children as young as 6 years old and have interpreted for adults. I will also go at your pace and will never rush through a lesson. Be assured that when you take lessons with me, I will always focus on the quality of your learning, not the quantity.

I rated Jacquelyn 5 stars because she is really good at teaching ASL.

I think she is amazing because the first time that I took classes with her, she told me that she was easygoing. She also included that even if I ever do a sign wrong or forget it, she wouldn't be upset no matter what!

My first class was amazing! At first I was nervous, but then she made me feel comfortable. Now I am excited for my next lesson with her!

I enrolled my brother (age 10) with Jacquelyn and saw VERY quick improvement in his ASL. He loves his classes with Jacquelyn! His quick improvement in skills and fondness of Jackie has even inspired me to enroll my sister (age 13) with her as well. Jacquelyn is an AMAZING teacher. She is kind, patient, friendly and extremely knowledge. I highly, highly recommend her if you are interested in learning ASL.

I enrolled my younger brother with Jacquelyn first and saw how much he loved her and how much he has learned in such a short amount of time. His quick improvements inspired me to enroll my younger sister with her as well. Jackie is so kind, patient and overall an AMAZING teacher. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

My daughter (12 years old) wants to be an interpreter so she thought of doing these lessons on her own. She’s done 3 so far and absolutely loves them! She really likes Jacquelyn and is learning a lot and even more importantly she’s excited about her lessons and looks forward to them each week!

We loved working with Mrs. Jackie.  She answered questions and broke down signs so I understood.  She always had a lesson for us to work on, or would work with me if I was not understanding the signs.
