Hi! My name is Anna-Alise. I am a Senior in college majoring in ASL Interpretation. I am working this job to contribute to my college fund for the year. Even after all of my financial aid, I still owe over $10,000! I am trying to raise the money so I don't end up with a lot of debt. By taking lessons with me, you are helping someone in need!

A little about me...
My husband and I live on the peaceful side of the smokies. We enjoy coffee and music!
He plays the drums, guitar, and piano, what can't he do! I like to play those same instruments (except for the drums, I am not coordinated enough for that.) We live in a tiny apartment off of my in-laws home and I couldn't be happier to see their puppies running up hills every day. I am in my senior year of college and plan to get my master's and be completely done with school in May of 2025. That's enough about my life, I can't wait to meet you and hear (or see you sign) about yours!

This class will talk about aspects of Deaf culture one should know before going into it. This class may be taught using Sim Com, if there are any Deaf joining. Can't wait to see you! :)

Hi! My name is Anna-Alise. I am a Senior in college majoring in ASL Interpretation. I am working this job to contribute to my college fund for the year. By taking lessons with me, you are helping someone in need! 

I am 20 years old! I have been signing since I was 10. I am detail-oriented, meticulous, friendly, and professional. I am a devoted teacher. I believe that in order to learn, you need to feel respected and supported. I am here to kindly guide you in your sign language journey. To be your teacher, adviser, mentor, and friend. I also advise when it comes to going to school for ASL. I love being able to help anyone further their future in ASL. I hope to inspire a love for ASL in you that burns just as brightly as mine.

Best teacher ever. Always prepared, stuctured, and she reallly has a genuine interest in people and their success.

Annalise was a joy to meet and work with! I am looking forward to future lessons, she is a very knowledgable and supportive instructor.

I had a great lesson with her! We were able to get most of the song that I was wanting to learn done in one lesson and she gave me other resources to finish it with or without booking another lesson with her!
