Shea taught me a lot as a friend and instructor. She helped me get a handle on my mental health and anxiety issues when I needed her most, and she was always knowledgeable and attentive. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't miss having her around to help me get through life.

I am compelled to write a raving review about Haley Shea. I am 55 years old and started working with her one-year ago to nail down punctuation and grammar in order to write a blog about nutrition and resistance exercise. Haley is patient and has a pleasant demeanor that strongly motivated me to want to learn the material. Currently, I look forward to each and every lesson.

Around December of last year, I discovered that my heart was not into blog writing. I sent Haley an email and explained my feelings and that I was actually passionate about screenwriting. She wrote back and I discovered this was right (or write) up her alley. Truth be told, as a nine year-old I used to write and direct 8 mm movies with my neighborhood friends as actors and dreamed one day of becoming a writer, producer and director. But like all other dreams this one was derailed.

Haley had me write a couple scene samples. She sent them back to me and was quite pleased with my neophyte attempt. I told her about a sci-fi television project that I wast interested in and after many months of her encouragement and my persistence I finished the first draft.

After some revisions, I watched her perform a table read by Skype utilizing the skills of her improvisation students. I loved watching their reaction as they each read their part. It is very gratifying watching some one become the character you created. It was intended to be funny and campy. There were times the actors seemed to have trouble containing their laughter. Overall their reaction was positive.

At this juncture, Haley is helping me with query letters and obtaining input from other professionals in her inner circle. She is also seeking input from other writers.

The most important thing is I enjoy screenwriting no matter what happens. Haley has helped me love what I'm doing and it is not chore but sweet ride.

I'm greatful for her guidance,

Love the lessons with Sara Ann - informative, interesting, and always helpful! She is a true speech master who can clearly identify what is missing and find excellent tools to fix it. of My first language is Russian and I was always excited to minimize its presence when I speak English. I tried some online videos but realized unless someone in person points you to what exactly sounds wrong, there won't be any results.
Sara Ann is awesome in explaining details and makes it all smooth and easy. I can really see improvements. Highly recommend!

Fulvia has been our teacher now for 3 years. We wanted to learn Italian because we travel to Italy often.
Each lesson is well prepared and thought through by the teacher. Fulvia uses many different ways to make lessons fun and the language more approachable.
They include books, videos and interactive games etc. There is always a bit of homework to do to help follow up with the weekly lesson. She always finds ways to help us understand subjects that are challenging.
That Fulvia is a native speaker of the Italian language is a big bonus.
Fulvia is a great teacher and we highly recommend her.

About Andrew
I teach/tutor a myriad of topics and love doing it. I'm currently attending the Georgia Institute of Technology, studying aerospace engineering and computer science, so I love science and math (particularly when it has to do with space stuff). I'm super outgoing and a very laid back, chill person all at the same time (being like this has produced quite the stories). I also love food, a lot.

Working with others and helping them succeed has been something I've loved to do for a while now. While I was in high school, I was a coach for one of the local swim teams and had a blast getting to teach people how to swim and such, and the best part was getting to connect with those kids and seeing them succeed during the swim meets.

Once I graduated, I had the privilege to serve as a full time volunteer in Brazil for a couple years, where my
sole focus, every day, was to help others to improve the quality of their life. In doing so, I had the wonderful opportunity to meet new people everyday and see people's lives drastically improve. Another cool part of this experience was that I got to teach English as a second language to people who'd never spoken it before. They loved it, and in the time that I did teach it, students went from speaking no English to being able to form basic sentences and have simple conversations.

Now in college, I've strived to continue this pattern with the little free time that I get during the week and on the weekends due to my classes. Throughout all of this, I've discovered how easy it is for me to connect with people and how much fun it can be.

What I bring to the lessons:
I always ensure to provide the highest quality lessons and ensure that the student easily understands the materials. I'll provide materials that I know will assist the student to master the concepts.

My expectations:
Learning requires the student to put in effort. Any assignments I give, I will expect them to be completed. I understand that sometimes one of "those weeks" comes around where life hits us in the face, but it's not every week.

Your expectations:
You've come to me obviously to learn something new, and I intend to go above and beyond those expectations. I want the lessons to be more than just sit down, do the work, and then leave. That's not a great way to learn stuff, in my opinion. Expect to be brought out of your comfort zone a bit and experience things you never experienced before. Above all, expect to see these lessons as an enjoyable experience.

Every one of my students say it's fun to have lessons with me! They learn the best English and have fun while doing it. I am disciplined. know my craft, have over 20 years experience and understand the difficulties of learning a new language. I took French courses in high school, at Indiana University where I received my B.A. in English, and in NYC at the Alliance Francais and with private teachers. I also learned German while teaching dance and performing as a singer/dancer in Munich, Germany without the benefit of any formal instruction. I fully understand what language learners go through. physically , mentally, and emotionally. I am, also, an excellent writer and enjoy teaching the skill to students. I have helped a young Russian businessman, transplanted to Mannheim, Germany, who would barely open his mouth during lessons and knew p
recious little about sentence structure, learn to speak and write well enough to make a 5/6 test score on his GMAT. I helped a Spanish student speak well enough to get a new IT job with Adidas at their home base in Germany. I helped a young, 16 year old, Japanese student, transplanted to Holland, improve his English so that he was able to pass his proficiency tests with flying colors. And we all had a great time getting there! I love teaching and I love working with students who want to be taught!!
