About Lars
My name is Lars Nagel and I am looking forward in teaching you guitar. I've been teaching guitar for about 5 years. I fully believe that anybody can learn to play well, if they work hard, stick with it and has the passion for it. Because I did. It took a lot of work for me and did not come easy. It's never easy, nor should it be, because a person is learning something real and not just pushing buttons. But the rewards of getting better are fantastic, a sense of accomplishment and confidence is being built in a person as a result of hard work. And of course it's really fun and in my opinion the best thing in the world. The starting age doesn’t matter, old or young, a person can get so much out of music on so many levels.
In addition to music I also teach Swedish language, (conversation only) and Tennis. I was born and raised in Stockholm,
Sweden. Grew up playing tennis, was a competitive junior player and also played briefly on the circuit. I’ve been coaching tennis in Atlanta since 1989. I worked at clubs, swim/tennis neighborhoods and independently. While having been a touring musician I found the sports side being very complementary to it and probably kept me out of more trouble at times.

Looking forward in meeting you.

Cheers

Melissa has a lovely calming personality. She made us feel completely at ease while learning a foreign language. She was prepared and tailored the lesson for our specific goals and level.

She displayed an expert knowledge of the language, but was still able to teach beginners. Plus we could tell she really loved Portuguese.

The online format was great. Cant wait for the next lesson.

Teaching Hindi since 1988 when I was a teenager myself, my classes are exciting, replete with interesting information about the people it represents.

I know that learning a new language, especially its verbal form, is a slow process so I let my students take their time with it. As long as I am able to hold their interest class after class and they look forward to more, I am assured that my teaching is well received and together we are creating a memorable experience.

I use my students' personalities, passions and what is important to their lives as the axes of my focus in class to teach the language. My students find me very likable, friendly and relaxed in the teaching role. It is what I do best!

we approached Shuchi Ma'am for Hindi classes as I was poor in that topic and it was an important Final Board exams for me and the marks were crucial. She was very helpful in clearing my concepts and dispelling phobia for Hindi. She has lot of patience and passion for the language. Thanks to her I secured high scores in my final exams.

Shuchi taught my daughter and was a perfect fit for her. Shuchi has impeccable command over both Hindi and English . My daughter's spoken and written Hindi improved leaps and bounds under her tutelage. Would recommend Shuchi to everyone who is struggling in Hindi as a school subject or wants to improve their spoken Hindi.

I have been playing guitar and bass for over 15 years, which has been a remarkable and rewarding musical journey. After teaching myself for seven years, I decided to attend the Atlanta Institute of Music from which I graduated with a performance-based scholarship. My own approach to learning has helped me to teach students from all various backgrounds as I am able to adapt my lesson plans to accommodate either a more classical or more colloquial approach to effectively relate the material to each student effectively. My lesson plans are structured around the goals that students set for themselves, which I then show them how to achieve in a practical manner. This is a great life skill that will extend even beyond music. The only goals that cannot be reached are the ones you tell yourself repeatedly "I can't", which is the only real ba
rrier to learning and creating.
