David is an amazing artist and his level of skill is inspiring. He is kind and patient with an obvious passion for passing on the love and art of
playing instruments to his students. Thoruoghly enjoyed the lesson and looking forward to next one. BTW: The student is my Grandaughter...not me."

. Amanda has completely erased that uncertainty by being very supportive, h onest, motivatiing and inspiring me to learn more about the control of this beautiful instrument we all have ."

"Great Singing Teacher
Rebecca has helped me reach my goal of becoming a more accomplished choir member. I sing alto and before I took lessons with her, i
t was very difficult for me to stay on my part. She also helped me to breathe correctly and sing without straining my voice. I have learned SO MUCH from her, from how to warm up to how to project my voice so it can be heard. I am much more confident about my voice. She is a great teacher."

Soraya is wonderful teacher especially with children. She is understanding and goes at their pace. Children are encouraged to learn and en
joy music. She makes it a fun environment for them to learn but is also a serious teacher. The perfect balance. I would highly recommend Soraya."
Learning guitar should be interesting and fun! While we're studying all the different aspects of the instrument, you'll also be learning how to play your favorite songs and solos! I approach each student as an individual and structure their lessons according to what I determine they need, as well as what they are interested in musically. I concentrate on many different areas; ear training, theory, playing technique, improvisation, various styles of music, and, the physics of the guitar. Understanding how the instrument works is important in my opinion. My long term goal
is to teach a student how they can teach themselves down the line. Understanding why you’re playing something is just important as knowing how to play it. I aim to give a student rich and well rounded one-on-one time!
I have been teaching and performing for over a decade both in the US, and in England. I have played in various bands and have produced independent artists. I have worked for a recording studio and for various academic institutions including the Filomen M. D'Agostino Greenberg Music School in New York city.
I obtained my degree from Purchase College in New York and am a member of their Conservatory of Music.
*** Lesson Details *** I construct lessons for each individual student depending on their musical tastes, goals, and current skill level etc. I want each person to get as much from their time studying with me as possible. Within three to six months, I'll have you working on timing, theory, ear training, improv, and songs/styles of music you may be interested in. I'm laid back, however, I expect at least the minimum practice time between lessons, which I'll change throughout the course of our time together depending on your skill level etc. Practice materials I draw up are included. I write out everything in plain English and do not require the use of sheet music!
*** Studio Equipment *** Small recording studio, piano, various guitars, bass, and amps.
*** Travel Equipment *** guitar, bass, laptop, digital recorder.
*** Specialties *** I concentrate on ear training, improvisation, and explore styles ranging from pop, alternative, rock, prog, and blues, to metal, funk, and folk etc. I do not require sight reading skills for any level of student. Rather, I work with the student with theory and arrangement conventions to really understand the music. This intern, greatly sharpens their musical ear and helps them to learn music much faster because they understand how it is put together; why and how it works, etc.
***Teaching Special Needs*** I have experience teaching students who have been visually impaired, blind, hearing impaired, or who have had mild learning disabilities. I am also comfortable with a student bringing their service dog or therapy dog to our lessons if they wish.

I enjoyed my first lesson with Cameron. He explained things clearly so I could understand. Can't wait for my next lesson.

A solid teacher with a lot of experience
Cameron is great at tailoring the lessons to my musical taste without compromising the theory, basics and fundamentals.
I have been taking lessons for one year and will not go elsewhere anytime soon. His vast musical knowledge helps merge the theory with concrete examples. No question remains unanswered.

I've been taking bass lessons from Cameron for a few months now. He's a great instructor. Very knowledgeable, very patient, and puts in time outside our lessons to be prepared to teach or play new material that I am interested in. I always look forward to my lessons. If you're looking for a good bass or guitar teacher (not sure what else he might teach) Cameron is your guy!
Guitarist Brian H. studied at The Hartford Conservatory and the Hartt School of Music, graduating at the top of his class with honors from The Hartford Conservatory. Brian has been a guitar and bass instructor at Choate Rosemary Hall since 1999. Brian also teaches at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, The Music Shop in Southington, and is the owner of Guitar Star Studio, located in Glastonbury, CT. Brian has provided liturgical music for many years in CT; also, in Sicily and Rome. Mr. H is a patient, enthusiastic teacher who enjoys helping his students master the art of guitar.
*** Lesson Details *** In the first half of the lesson, students can expect to learn music fundamentals from a guitar method book, i.e. how to read music; I also teach guitar tablature. Depending on ability (beginner, intermediate, advanced), I will show them chords, scales and how to play a guitar solo. The second half of the lesson is spent with the student learning their favorite songs and building a repertoire (song list) for possbile future performances.
*** Studio Equipment *** home: Seating for parents. I provide the amp, instrument cable and music stand. I expect the student to have a guitar and notebook. If the student does not have a guitar, I will give a referral for reasonably priced guitars.
*** Travel Equipment *** I expect the student to have a guitar and notebook. If the student does not have a guitar, I will give a referral for reasonably priced guitars.
*** Specialties *** Rock, Pop, Jazz, & Beginner Classical

I have been taking guitar lessons from Brian for a little over a year. His style is both patient and encouraging. I admire his ability to "hear the music"....every note ! I am an adult who has wanted to learn guitar for many years and thrilled to have found Brian. He truly displays a desire to teach at a pace that is comfortable. I would recommend him to folks of all ages.

My daughter has been taking lessons with Will for just over a year. I am amazed by the progress she has made. The goals she set a year ago were easily attained with Will's guidance and training. In addition, he is incredible flexible, kind and compassionate.
We look forward to the growth we know our daughter will achieve in the coming year working with Will.

Dana is great! I was so nervous and she put me right at ease and made the lesson a lot of fun. She is very patient and knowledgeable and I highly recommend her!
Stephanie May 11, 2016
I've only had the privilege of working with Dana for 3 months, but have already noticed great improvement in my voice! She is patient and understanding, while still keeping students focused and motivated, offering encouragement along the way. She is incredibly knowledgable and thinks it's important to share the "why" behind the "what" so that her students are really using their voices properly. It has been more than a decade since my last formal singing experience, and my time with Dana has helped me access better technique than I've ever had, which has given me a huge confidence boost. I would absolutely recommend Dana to anyone looking to improve vocally!!
