"Jesseka is the best piano teacher ever!
I have been taking piano lessons with Jesseka since July 2009. Under Jessekaâs guidance, I have excelled very q
uickly in piano. I look forward to seeing her once a week and I never want to miss it.
Jesseka is enthusiastic, patient, and knows exactly when to stop and have me review something that Iâve overlooked. She is a very kind and comprehensive teacher who reviews details of the music lesson in a fun and charming manner. Jesseka truly cares about me and provides positive and encouraging feedback. She is a professional and always has a smile to share. I would highly recommend Jesseka as she is the best, the one and only, piano teacher I have ever had."

"Victoria is an excellent teacher! She is precise in her observations of my playing and the subsequent constructive critique, which has already helped me
to tremendously improve the way I play each note as well as difficult chords, such as B minor (difficult for me as a beginner). She is very patient, as well as very smart and extremely personable. She helps me to define my goals at each lesson. I am thrilled to have Victoria as a teacher and I will be signing up for additional lessons with Victoria."

"Been talking lessons with Diego for about half a year now. He's been one of the best teachers I've had (being 40+, I've had an opportunity to experience
quite a few). He's enthusiastic about my progress and works hard at presenting material in a way, and at a pace that's right ofr me. I've been incredibly pleased with the quality of his instruction, and super happy with the progress I've made with his guidance. I'm looking forward to continuing my lessons with him."

I've been working with Russell for several months now. I took instruction 35 years ago but never progressed. As I was young and moving on to other things. Fast forward to now, I'm 51 years old and working with him on a weekly basis has taken farther faster than I could have imagined. He makes lessons fun and I really look forward to them. I have also seen him play live and sing. He's an amazing talent!

My son loves his drum lessons! Russell is very caring and patient teacher, just as this post stated, he also knows how to make lessons fun. My son is not a very confident type of a kid and Russell really helped to set everything at ease during first lessons he is very supportive. We also appreciate the flexibility - since our schedule is crazy and we often had to reschedule. Of course the greatest part is when he drums along with the kid at the end of the class - you' d be taking videos of that groovy stuff every time, trust me. This sure is noisy, but so much fun!
Besides my experience and love of music, I'm a people person with a gift of teaching, so it's a win-win. I have a B.S. degree from the University of Tennessee with a minor in music. I'm a concert level clarinetist (over 30 years) as well as barbershop singer (25 years) and worship leader (20 years), & guitar player (25 years), sax player (10 years). I also play handbells, have directed three youth musicals, and have led music at youth camps, conferences, retreats, Kairos prison ministry, and other service projects. I currently lead a nine member bluegrass band which is a blast.
on Details *** I will push you for excellence and I teach in fun ways. I hope to play a lot together after the basics have been accomplished. The most important aspect of playing an instrument or singing is to have fun. If you not enjoying what you're doing, why do it? I hope to make the overall musical experience fun and help you achieve your goals.
*** Travel Equipment *** whatever is needed. Whatever they need
*** Specialties *** worship leading, singing, barbershop quartet singing, clarinetist for both classical and jazz groups as well as worship

It is easy to recommend Sue to anyone as she is a fantastic music instructor. She makes learning seem easy, which is the hallmark of a great teacher. You will find her to be extremely friendly and approachable so you never fear making mistakes or asking any questions; her patience is unwavering.
One particularly great thing about Ms. Sue D.'s teaching method is her flexibility with learning material. She took time to review method books I had from a previous teacher, picking songs and exercises she felt would supplement lessons from the books we normally use.
I have found my lessons to be both enjoyable and extremely informative. When we are reviewing the material from the previous week at the beginning of a new lesson I always have the feeling I've made real progression on the instrument.

perfect Cello teacher
Just love the way how Sue makes my 8 year old pay attention to cello techniques without annoying her. The pieces of music she chooses are always perfect, either for my daughter's skills and for her fun. Sue manages to teach music theory right along the way and it is amazing, how much improvement can be realized in my daughter's abilities just after a few lessons with Sue. Thank you, Sue!

best piano teacher ever
Sue is the most wonderful piano teacher ever! Always challenging, but never overburdening my ten year old daughter. In addition to piano techniques Sue teaches a lot of music theory, too. And she does this in a way that my daughter never is bored. Sue creates a lesson atmosphere, that is very relaxing and fun, but still purposeful and my daughter is looking forward to every single lesson. Just love Sue.
“Joey has done a good job working with my son, Nicholas, on his guitar playing. Despite my son’s habit of not practicing enough, Joey has been patient with him and has managed to discover what sparks my son’s interest. Now, Nicholas has greatly improved and plays guitar very often, and enjoys it. Joey has also been flexible when we have had to request schedule changes. He has also been thorough in following up on questions or discussions we have had.”

“Joey greeted my 10 year-old-daughter with a warm smile. A mother couldn't have asked for more! As an instr
uctor he met my daughter where she was as a learner, and a curious beginner. He continues to help her develop in both skill and confidence. His talent and love for music keep her motivated and excited about her lessons each week. A great experience!”
Katie Hall Huntersville, NC
“Joey was a terrific, flexible teacher who did his best to accommodate my work schedule, etc. He was thoughtful, prepared for each lesson, and really listened to what and how I wanted to learn to play the guitar. I'd highly recommend him for anyone just beginning or wanting to improve.”

Joey R is a student of music performance for classical guitar at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He is a very friendly and compassionate musician, and is completely immersed in the music world. Naturally, he wants to share his love of music with his students, and his goal is to awaken the musical potential in his clients. He's been on a journey with guitar for 13 years. As an instructor, he is gifted in providing inspiration to his students. Technique, expression, repertoire, sight-reading, music theory, and much enthusiasm describe the experience of studying the guitar with Joey.
From EastCoastEntertainment profile:
"Joey R has been honing his technique and artistry on the guitar for 11 years. He was born and raised in New York, where he was first introduced to classical music through the violin. Now, he is a music student of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte where he continues on his spiritual and musical journey as a classical guitarist.
Joey R has studied classical guitar under the mastery of Derek Day at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, and Charles Vaughn at The University of North Carolina at Charlotte. His playing reflects his Spanish culture and background, while simultaneously being fueled by his unstoppable love for the music.
During his studies on the classical guitar, he has worked with the music of Mauro Giuliani, Matteo Carcassi, Francisco Tárrega, J.S Bach, and much, much more. What separates Joey R from other musicians is his unmistakable close attention to small details in music. From studying under masters in the field, Joey R pays special attention to the basic musical components such as melody, rhythm, and harmony, while putting a tremendous amount of effort and thought into his tone production. His musical ideas are an exact reflection to how he views the world around him; a beautiful, adventurous, and emotional reality.
His repertoire is forever expanding, but focuses mostly on the Baroque and Classical Era, and contemporary Spanish music, particularly that of Antonio Lauro."

I am really enjoying my lessons with Joey with now. The greatest part about my experience is that I am actually practicing, and enjoying the rewards of practicing. He really knows how to inspire his students, so he is a great choice for guitarist's who have hit the "wall". I have improved greatly in my practice sessions because of his philosophies on practice he has shared with me. We work on mostly electric guitar, and since he is classical trained, his thoughts on left hand technique are extremely helpful!
