I am a lifelong sewist with experience in Quilting, Embroidery, Mending and many other textile techniques. I have been teaching sewing classes to adults and children for over 20 years at the beginner, intermediate and advanced levels.

In addition to my creative pursuits, I have been studying and working in the field of Early Childhood Education since 1987.  I have a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Special Education with a certificate in Autism Spectrum Disorders.  I currently have MN state licenses in Early Childhood Education, Early Childhood Special Education and Parent Education and provide Parent Coaching under the Life Coaching tab.

Get started on an embroidery sampler.  In this class we will cover needle threading and two stitches:  Running Stitch and Back Stitch.

Hand Embroidery is a great way to get started in hand stitching.  We can start with basic stitches and work up to more difficult skills.  I can help beginners start an easy embroidery sampler and can also challenge experienced embroiderers with advanced stitches.

Lisa was very informative and helpful so I can begin to put my quilt together. I like that I can take classes from my own home!

Lisa has been such an awesome quilting teacher! I came in as a complete beginner and she has very patiently helped me gain more and more quilting skills and knowledge.
