Hi! My name is Etana, M.S. I am a detail-oriented, self-starting designer with 16 years of professional experience under my belt. From print to web, design is not simply what I do for a living, it is my passion.

I run a Tempe, Arizona based business called SocietyJazz = ‘Society’ as in the totality of people and ‘Jazz’ as in all that stuff. Society Jazz brings together my core concepts: People .Passions . Environments.

I bring this philosophy into my teaching method: I believe that each person is uniquely different so therefore their love/passion in life and how they bring it into the world is their own. I use this philosophy to create unique lessons based on you, how you learn and what you want to learn.

My name is Junia and I'm highly motivated and enthusiastic with outstanding teaching experience. Able to plan, prepare and deliver lessons that will help you learn in a fun environment. I hold an Advanced National Tutor Certificate, proficient in a plethora of teaching expertise, possess an excellent communication and lateral thinking skills as well as a clear diction and highly confident demeanor.

This was a great first lesson with Kirk, and my 13 year old son really enjoyed it! My son is really into drawing with both pencil and on his Chromebook, and he loves doing cartoon/Manga/mixed style drawings of his own characters. Kirk worked really well with my son, and my som enjoyed the process. We will definitely be buying and scheduling more lessons with him!

I teach Illustrator skills ranging from basic text and graphic design to creating fully rendered vector art. You will learn the workspace and tools as we develop a workflow that suits your style of working and creating. As you advance you will learn the tools and design techniques to "build" any asset or graphic you want to create. You will be able to implement non-destructive effects to your graphics and apply interesting color palettes. If your interests are in digital art, you will learn all of the same drawing concepts of traditional drawing plus digital painting techniques and color theory while using meshes and gradients. 

If you are a more advanced student, we can dive into more directed areas of study including principles of design, design trends, and graphic styles.

I have a Master's Degree in fine art and over 20 years experience in the creative arts with 10 years experience as a graphic designer. 

I am the lead artist and art director for multiple organizations in the fields of video games and board game publishing. I regularly create concept art and push the limits of creative world building and story telling through visual art and creative writing. I'm also a nut for good design, aesthetic and ergonomics. 

I am also a body flight wind tunnel coach with several sky diver students and have worked in vertical wind tunnels for 7 years. Before that I was a dj and music producer for about 10 years playing shows amidst working as an artist and designer. I grew up on the mountain snowboarding in Lake Tahoe and was a snowboard instructor for 3 years. Besides all of that I have taught art courses at UO and several community colleges around the nation. I absolutely love creating and love teaching even more!

You can expect to learn as much as you can imagine from me and advance your art skills into a talent that can truly change the world around you. I can adapt my teaching methods for all your needs and pacing while learning this challenging skill. This platform allows me to share so much more with students than is possible in a normal classroom setting.

Hello! My name is Sylvia and I'm here to help you learn a new skill or master it to a new level! I've been teaching private lessons since 2001 and am currently available to teach lessons at your home, at the public library, in my studio and online. I have loved helping my students with education classes such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, mathematics, english, science, dancing salsa and cha cha, painting, illustrating fashion, sewing, computer coding, playing the violin, to personal training. 

I have always had many interests and luckily I worked hard at them with great teachers to achieve great levels. I went to University of New South Wales and earned a degree in Software Engineering in 2003, and also Sydney TAFE to earn a Fashion Design degree in 2009.
