I have lived in Spain more than 20 years, I am a native Spanish speaker. I studied all my youth and finished High School there in Spain. I can teach grammar, correct pronunciation and how to write the language correctly.
If you are asking yourself if it is the same language than the Mexican Spanish, yes, it is the same. The only difference is that the mexicans use some other vocabulary and other expressions. It is similar in how british vocabulary and american vocabulary differ, when they refer to some things in particular. In any case, it is the same exact language.
I have experience teaching very beginners. And if you have a lot of knowledge about the language but you want to improve your speaking in a very high level, I am the one to speak to! Because I am a NATIVE speaker, I will show you how really Spaniards speakers express themselves and talk.
I taught people from other countries the language and I really enjoy it !!

About Robert
I'm currently a Honor student at the College of Music in the University of North Texas.
I studied a 6 year piano degree in Spain, finishing the degree with the highest grade in piano performance.
I teach classical piano but I can also teach other styles! My specialization is Classical Music and if you want to learn the music of Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin and many more, I can help you! In any case, if you want to I can teach you other styles as well as how to play the songs you love.
I also love teaching music theory. Music theory is the knowledge that let us learn and understand how harmony, melody and rhythm intertwine in a musical piece. Knowing music theory can even help you expand your artistic skills and be able to write songs or improvise.
I have experience teaching children in Spain and in Texas now for several years.
Come a
nd let me help you learn how to play the piano, you will enjoy it! Fill your life with music!

I speak Spanish as a native because I was raised for many years in Spain. Therefore, I can teach grammar, writing and perfect pronunciation.
If you are asking yourself if it is the same language than Central and Southern American Spanish, yes. It is the same language. The only difference that we have is in vocabulary or different expressions in some occasions. An example would be how British vocabulary and American vocabulary differ. In any case, it is the same exact language.

If you want to learn piano, music or Spanish, I can help you achieve your goals, it is worth it!!

After my graduation from The Instituto Pedagogico Nacional Monterrico, I decided to traveled to the United States and stayed since then. Brilliant instructor, fun and memorable exercises make it a class to look forward to. The improved atmosphere in learning with Mariella has allowed me to attain a more rapid progress that was conversationally and occupationally useful much sooner than I anticipated. Working with an instructor one on one also helps greatly decrease anxiety of learning when you will need to try your new skills on others who may not know you well if at all. The lessons she gives, along with the adjuncts on learning recommended, provide an efficacious and complete Spanish learning system where the goal you personally desire will be obtained, be it for travel, occupational, or cultural purposes. I cannot get over how many years I've studied Spanish using books and computer programs and audio CDs in the car, but then to make more progress in a short time than I had over years locks in that speaking high quality Spanish will be in your future if you continue with this instructor and follow her careful guidance.

As opposed to solely memorizing facts, I can help beginning students learn to effectively communicate in Spanish in a practical way.

About Bridget

I believe in having a friendly attitude, actively listening to what the student would like to accomplish, and developing a practical game plan to help each student fulfill his or her objective. Language learning must be personalized! What are your interests; sports, art, politics, animals, the environment? I will find out what you like and tailor lessons with music, shows, articles, games and conversation that apply to YOUR interests. More intrinsic motivation will help you learn.
I have 6 years experience teaching Spanish levels 1- Honors IV at the high school level, am a trained medical interpreter and taught English for 1 year in Granada, Spain, in addition to living in Germany.
Additionally, I have a BA in Spanish Language and Literature from the University of Maryland at College Park and have studied at the graduate level at American University.

About Ashleigh
I'm a full-time Spanish teacher at a private high school in Washington, DC where I have taught levels 1-IV for the last 4 years. Prior to that, I lived in Germany as a military spouse where I taught yoga. Before Germany, I taught Spanish for two years at a private boarding school in Raleigh, North Carolina. My first teaching position, however, was in Granada, Spain where I taught English at a rural school near Granada, Spain having won a fellowship after university graduation.
Although my bachelors is in Spanish Language and Literature I am studying TESOL at American University where I have completed 12 credits in language assessment, second language acquisition and linguistics. My classes are engaging and personalized. For my athlete students, I find articles and clips about their sport that we build language around. I do the same
for the interests of my other students, thereby making their connection to the language personal and intrinsic. In our tutoring sessions, there will be music, video and games! Because I am a teacher, I can help you liaise with your student's teacher in a way that will help us understand how to help your student.
