About Joshua
Joshua graduated from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts and studied at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and Judith Blazer’s 2005/2007 company of the Artist’s Crossing.

A diverse, singing actor, a few of Joshua’s performance credits include roles in The Trojan Women, Godspell, Burn This, Comedy of Errors, Children of Eden, Othello, Show Boat, Sunday in the Park with George, The Chosen, Sweeney Todd..., and The Laramie Project to name a few. He most recently closed the Broadway revival of Les Miserables having moved from Washington, DC to join the company. He can be seen in the upcoming HBO movie about Joe Paterno starring Al Pacino.

He was the co-founder and Artistic Director of the Helen Hayes Award winning theatre company, No Rules Theatre Company, in Washington, DC and Winston-Salem, NC making it the first e
ver dual city theatre company. During his 6 years with NRTC, he produced and often directed several award winning premieres and created outreach programs for the Deaf/Hard of Hearing and those that theatre is often unattainable to.

Having been most prompted with questions about running a business as an artist, he created Artist’s Strategy to help individuals develop personalized, strategic business plans to see their goals come to fruition.

I only work on a flex schedule with my students, so when booking lessons- rather than selecting a specific day and time for lessons, we schedule each lesson from week to week as we go. I have lots of open hours for teaching, though they are not reflected on my calendar, as my schedule tends to fluctuate.

He is very detailed in getting to know what makes you what you are and where you come from. There is an established unconditional comfortability and confidence that he brings when talking to about your history and future goals, and unquestionable intrigue of interest that helps him figure out what it is you want out of a lesson, critique, or and experience.
Overall he is very involved in actually helping you developed yourself and your craft towards what ever direction you wish to take it. Highly recommend one of his lessons and experience as a mentor

Sarah was a fantastic teacher!
I am 22 years old and have never had a singing lesson before, although I previously played the saxophone and piano and therefore had some musical background. During our 5 lessons I had more fun than I could have imagined while learning important skills regarding warming up, breath support, and stylistic choices while singing. She helped me get over my nerves and not feel so silly singing in front of others - something I've always felt self-conscious about. I would absolutely recommend Sarah to any adult wishing to learn how to sing!

About Natalie
Hi, everyone!

I'm so excited to be in Music City! I just moved to Nashville from New York City where I worked with Broadway performers and kids auditioning for some of the most competitive performance schools in the country. I'm confident I can help you achieve your music goals, whether they be learning to produce a powerful, resonate, healthy sound with your voice, becoming proficient in piano from everything from Bach to Billy Joel, or writing clear, catchy songs that will have a big impact on an audience.

Please check out my bio below and feel free to ask me any questions about lessons with the "Ask a Question" button.

Hope to be working with you very soon!

xoxo

Dr. Tem is a wonderful teacher for any age and audience. If you only want to learn to play, then you will be satisfied. However, if you are interested in music as art and a form of expressing one self, you will find this is where Dr. Tem's ability to teach really shines through.

I am a professional actor with an Associates Degree in Theater Arts from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in California. With a great deal of theatre experience at local theaters here in Nashville as well as California , and several Film and TV credits including the TV movies Blue Valley Songbird with Dolly Parton and A Death in the Family with John Slattery (from Madmen), as well as several commercials and music videos.

My focus is on bringing out the best in acting students of all ages- specializing in beginning to intermediate students- acting is similar to painting in that the performer has all the colors at his disposal - the only difference is an actor paints with emotion and mixing any 2 or 3 colors at one time makes for some great shades!
