Vania is an excellent Spanish instructor

I've taken many Spanish lessons that have ranged from various software programs to personal tutors. Vania is great. She knows how to relate with each person in order to convey concepts. She's the best I have worked with.

She's also very accommodating, since I tend to change my schedule around a lot. She is always flexible to accommodate. Vania is simply great.

Spanish is my second language. My mother was a Spanish teacher in the elementary school level and used music as an amazing resource for teaching Spanish to kids. I'll use the same techniques and ideas, as well as focusing on reading and writing the very romantic language.

About Olivia
I love to create. The way I'm most comfortable creating is through writing; whether it's a song, a short story, a poem or a script. Writing has always been the bass line in my life; the heartbeat.

Music and film are both passions of mine. I graduated from Berklee College of Music where I studied Songwriting and Music Therapy. I was pushed to my absolute limits lyrically and musically within these majors, and I am so grateful for it now that I'm on my own creative journey.

I have a great deal of experience, but I am also still learning. I think it is very important as a teacher to always be learning, especially through their students. Teaching these lessons is, of course, about progress and advancement - but also about enjoyment, confidence building and positive encouragement.

I am a native Spanish speaker and I offer conversational Spanish classes to give you the possibility to practice your conversational skills. We can focus on speaking and/or listening. We can talk about any topics that interest you or skills you want to improve. In addition, I can help you with grammar. However, practicing Spanish at conversational level will be the focus of my tutoring.

About Inés
Hi, My name is Inés and I am a native Spanish speaker from Spain. I am currently available to teach conversational Spanish online.

I have helped several people with different levels improve their conversational Spanish skills through a language exchange and working as a private tutor. We focused on correct pronunciation, grammar and improve of listening and conversational skills.

Thanks to I know three languages I understand the difficulties of learning a new language. In my experience, I have found that the best way to learn a language is through practice, instead of attending courses and memorization.

DURING THE CLASS

For my online classes, I usually use articles or texts, and videos or movies about topics that my students find interesting. After they have read them and/or watch them, we discuss them in class.

During
our conversations, I correct grammar and pronunciation, while they practice their conversational and listening skills.

In addition, if the student needs some help with grammar, I usually send them a power point with the theory about that grammar explained for them to read it. Then, we focus on practice by doing activities/exercises and applying that grammar in our conversations.

The class is very interactive and I always make it as fun as possible.

There is no memorization because it is through practice that you will finally get it!

ALL CLASSES INCLUDE

- Correction of grammar and pronunciation.

- Practice of speaking and listening skills.

- Material and activities/exercises for the class and homework (if needed).

- Correction of activities/exercises (if needed).

LEVELS

- Beginner level: You know enough grammar, but you struggle to start a conversation. You want to start speaking some Spanish.

- Intermediate or above level: When you are not a beginner, you know pretty the grammar. You want to practice and improve your conversation skills.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

- I only accept students older than 18 who have at least a basic understanding of Spanish grammar to start a conversation.

- Also, I try to be as flexible as possible in regards to scheduling classes. However, if it is not because of an emergency, I will not be able to reschedule a class unless the student gives 24 hours of notice.

Because practice is what you need!

I look forward to hearing from you. 🙂

Inés is a wonderful teacher. She is patient and friendly and takes the time to learn about the interests of her students so that the lessons can be more engaging.

She listens closely so if any grammar mistakes are made when I’m speaking, she can correct them or offer suggestions for more common ways to say things. And she’s always open to any questions I have.

I’ve really been enjoying our lessons!

During lessons I will provide constant feedback and adjust lessons depending on your needs and level of understanding. Students have different learning styles so I will teach lessons that incorporate visual, verbal, and written teaching methods. Students can expect a professional, enthusiastic, and patient teacher that is serious about students learning the subjects material and also makes learning fun.

About Belinda
I am a professional working artist and I am also a site coordinator for an Expanded Learning program here in Riverside. I obtained a degree in Art Practice from UC Berkeley where I specialized in multimedia installations that included large scale paintings, sculptures, and original music/audio. Due to the versatility in my own work from large to very small scale paintings I have acquired techniques and skills for every scale in between.
I am a strong believer in self expression and visual literacy which gets stronger with the formulation of concepts one builds through inspiration for each painting. I enjoy teaching and learning what my students' interests are and what motivates them. I can help you learn specific skills for abstract paintings to detailed portraits.
Through research I have also learned that individua
ls benefit greatly from creative freedom thus performing better in other academic subjects, learning healthy ways of expression, and mentality feel fulfilled through the therapeutic effects of painting.
If you are looking to work with someone who loves what they do, who is patient, motivational, and can teach you basic to advanced skills in painting, drawing, music, and Spanish send me a message and we start your learning journey!

The first lesson went very well with my daughter. Belinda was methodical in her teaching and approached the lesson with my daughter’s interest in mind. During the lesson, Belinda was able to actively engage my daughter the whole time, and more importantly, her teaching revived my daughter’s interest in drawing. She has already devised future plans to have my daughter practice sketching noses, eyes, and ears so that my daughter may draw the human face later with more realistic details.

Hello, my name is Liliana Williams. Being of Spanish descent, Spanish is the first language I learned. I have a systematic approach to teaching by educating my students on the building blocks of the language. My learning objective includes teaching Spanish grammar and mechanics; such as, understanding simple verb conjugation in present, past and future tense.

About liliana
Hello, my name is Liliana W. I am of Spanish descent and have been a Spanish speaker my entire life. While I grew up in Los Angeles, CA, I was an ESL student until 4th grade where I transitioned exclusively to English taught classes. The first language I learned and spoke was Spanish. I understand the importance of basic grammar and mechanics and educate my students on how to use basic building blocks of sentence structure. My systematic approach to teaching students is to present them with very clear learning objectives and helping them reach those objectives. Learning a new language is a very tricky thing. But with my approach, this experience will be easy, fun, and very rewarding!
