This Dr. John NOLA Shuffle is a great riff/lick to impress your friends and inspire you to create your own variations. Remember, to start slow, play the lick in different keys, and play with a metronome. 

Pay attention to how the left hand and right hand rhythmically interact. When you break it down we are simply playing a C major Triad in the left hand and the right is playing an arpeggiated C Major 7 chord followed by inverted chords within the scale. Again, Start slow!
