My name is Ghislain, I was born and raised in Nice and I lived and Study for ten years in Paris, France. I arrived in the US in September to study as a master student, dance composition at the University of Los Angeles California. I am currently choreographer at Le Rapt Invisible in France.

FRENCH

I have taught French to foreigner people in France since I was 18 years old (my mother has been doing that for over 30 years now) and since I arrived here to adults and students. I was a teacher assistant in the French department of UCLA from 2018 to 2020.

DANCE

I have been learning dance for the past 20 years and a teacher for almost 10 years. My specialities are in ballet and modern dance but with my background at a dancer for fashion brand in France, theater, movies and music videos I have learned and taught all kind of dances. 
I have graduated from the Conservatory Superior of Paris in dance and I have a teaching credential from the Center of Dance of Paris. 

In LA, I have been teaching dance in many places such as the French Conservatory of Beverly Hills and UCLA.  I can help you to get better with your technique, work on choreographies, prepare for auditions and more.

PIANO

I started learning piano when I was 5 years old. I have studied it for a decade at the Conservatory of Nice. Since I moved to Los Angeles, I have taught private classes for all kind of levels. I can teach you classical scores as well as Pop songs. I am able to teach you the two different ways of reading a score (ABC or Do Ré Mi).

You will learn useful adjectives to introduce yourself in a daily conversation. We will look at adjectives of emotions and descriptions. You will also receive tips to improve your french!

My name is Ghislain, I was born and raised in Nice and I lived and studied for ten years in Paris, France prior to my venue in the United States. I arrived in the US in September 2017 as a master student in Dance at UCLA. I am currently the Dance instructor at the French Conservatory of Music and Dance of Los Angeles and teach French privately. 

I have experience teaching French to students of any levels and age. I was a Teaching Assistant in French at UCLA from 2017 to 2020. There, I taught Beginning French and Intermediate French to hundreds of students. Teaching is my passion and it is a passion in my family as both my sister and my mother teach French. 

I teach private and group lessons in French online. My younger student is 5 and my oldest 81. I also have experience with children with disabilities. With these lessons, I can help you get ready for exams and midterms, I can help you start learning French and improve your knowledge. As a native speaker, I can also offer conversation lessons to the more advanced students.

I took French in school but was feeling rusty and wanted a safe space to practice before an upcoming trip to France. I was surprisingly nervous, but Ghislain was so approachable and encouraging. He clearly tailored our sessions to my ability and interest, and the lessons felt more like catching up with a friend who also helped with vocabulary words and grammar.
