I am an experienced ESL instructor with a Master's degree in Education and a TESOL certificate.  I have taught reading, speaking, writing, listening, grammar, and vocabulary to adult learners from Basic Literacy through Academic and Business English (including prep for the TOEFL and TOEIC exams).  I taught at Heartland Community College from 2012 through 2015 and have been teaching exclusively online since 2016.  I am very patient and work hard to make my lessons fun and stress free!

In this class students will learn how to write a paragraph about their neighborhoods.  We will read several examples of paragraphs about neighborhoods in order to learn vocabulary and how paragraphs should be organized.

You will also learn about using the words and, but, and so to join ideas and when to use commas with these linking words.

Students will then write a short paragraph to share with their classmates and the instructor to receive helpful tips on improving their writing.
