My passion is teaching languages. I am a certified teacher, and I enjoy working with students from different backgrounds and cultures. I believe every student has a talent, whether it is academic, artistic, or logical, and I bring out that talent through my personalized lessons. It does not matter how old you are or what language level you are at, we can have a great time learning a new language together. 

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Spanish education and a Master's Degree in teaching foreign languages, and I am working on my PhD in Applied Linguistics. The subjects I offer are Spanish, English as a Second Language, and Romanian.

In this class, practice speaking common English phrases for business and customer service. Your expert instructor will provide easy to memorize tips for practicing and you will have the opportunity to learn with other students at your same level. I have created lesson plans and taught English to immigrants in the United States and to students in China. I have experience in medium-sized classes and one-on-one settings.  I try to focus on as many accents and dialects as possible to make sure you can communicate effectively in different contexts.  I have degrees in language education, and I am now working on a PhD in applied linguistics.

I just love Carmen's enthusiasm, dedication to share her knowledge with me, and her way of making sure we maximize our time together!
