Hello! My name is Simone! Let's speak English! I have taught English since 2012 to both children and adults of all levels. I try my best to make learning fun! I'm an open-minded, friendly person who loves languages. I like to focus on speaking, because it is often the most difficult or frustrating part of language (especially when you want to express yourself!). However, I also have a strange passion for grammar! I try to make grammar rules as clear and simple as possible, and will show you how to use them in everyday conversation.  I'm here to work through your difficulties, so don't hesitate to ask me any and all questions!

When you learn how to speak English, you will gain important skills for describing places and locations. From your home, to your office, the grocery store, and other places in your life, when you can accurately describe places and locations, your English language skills will improve. This interactive English class will cover helpful phrases and common expressions that you can use to talk about the places that are important to you. A live teacher will guide the class in real time, explaining essential vocabulary and phrases, plus grammar rules and pronunciation tips. Students can expect to practice their skills and receive feedback from peers and the teacher.

This is an adult English school based in Paris, France. I work full-time as an English teacher where I give lessons to adults of all ages and of all levels. I cover everything from grammar to oral expression, as well as American culture!

English Teacher for Adults

I was a private English teacher to children between the ages of 4 and 17. I would go to their homes and give them individual lessons where I would focus on their difficulties in English.

This is an English school for adults based in Paris, France. I worked here part-time as an English teacher for groups of approximately 15 adults. I taught every level from beginner to advanced.

I gave private lessons to children from various different families between the ages of 9 and 15. I worked for one family in particular for 3 years and became very close to the family! I focused on anything that the children found to be difficult at school while also revising grammar points and practicing oral expression.

I worked with several families over the years where I was a sort of nanny to children between the ages of 4 to 15 years old. My main focus was to teach them English while also taking care of their basic needs (picking them up from school, bringing them to the park, etc).

French Au Pair

I volunteered at nearby elementary schools where I tutored children who had recently immigrated from Mexico and Russia. I helped them in English reading and comprehension.

I am a certified English teacher through the TEFL Academy (Teaching English as a Foreign Language). I received my certification in 2014. In doing so, I have had in-class experience working with a 5-year-old Russian girl, and a 12 year old Mexican boy. I have also lived in France for 2 years where I have worked extensively with French children ranging in age from 5-14 in regards to English speaking and writing.

I've been getting English classes with Simone for 8 months. She's been always very nice and willing to teach. If you ask her even something out of the topic, she always will be there to help you and answer your countless questions :).
