When learning to play piano, FUN is most important! Whether you are interested in reading music or playing your favorite song, I can teach you to do just that. With over 15 years of playing piano, and over 1 year of teaching private lessons, my goal is to assure each lesson is packed full of fun, while teaching the fundamentals of music theory.
I've been playing piano for over 15 years. I began playing in church, and have continued since. I've been teaching private lessons for about 1 year now. I thoroughly enjoy wiring music, specifically scoring music for skits and videos. Through my experience of playing, I've been able to use that ex

I love teaching and I have been doing it for about 6 years now. I love working with beginners, and I find myself especially good with children that are just getting to know music. Although I am open to work with any age-group.
As your teacher, we will work together to make you the most integral musician you can be. Every hand is different, so we will make sure we adjust to what works best for you and your skills.
I will share tips on how to practice and will follow up with your schedule and the amount of time you are putting towards your cello-life.
We will not only learn about cello in lessons, but also music theory (as I believe it is necessary for one to be able to not only make music, but also "talk" music.).
Since I am still a student, I am always looking for ways to make practicing more productive but also fulfilling so that is what we will do together as well.
I look forward to taking you from whatever level you may be at right now, to the most ideal performance/practice ...
I have loved teaching ever since I started doing so about 6 years ago. I have the most experience with children (begginners-intermediate), although I am comfortable with other age groups as well. My main goal as a cello teacher is not only for you to learn how to play the cello but to give you a b

Bachelor of Music from Southeastern Louisiana University
Teaching since 2017
I have been playing the acoustic guitar for 13 years. As a recent graduate from Southeastern Louisiana University, I have been teaching guitar and ukulele lessons as well as classes since the spring of 2017. I hold a bachelor's degree in music performance with my primary instrument being the guitar.
I can also help you to acquire a solid foundation of music theory knowledge. You can better understand music theory concepts if they are paired with guitar techniques to supplement them.
If you are a complete beginner, do not be afraid! I will help you to learn at a pace which is comfortable but still effective for you. These lessons will be focused and designed to fit YOUR needs. Let's learn together :)
My name is Brandi and I am ready to become your music teacher! Playing the guitar has been my passion for 14 years and counting. As a part of the talented music program throughout my high school years, I decided that I wanted to pursue music as a profession. I attended Southeastern Louisiana Univer

"What's that knob do?" "What happens if I press this button?" Square wave? Pulse wave? FM? ADSR? LFO?...
If you know absolute zero, or maybe a little about synthesis, here's your chance to learn what all those knobs and blinky lights do. Starting with the most basic concepts (waveforms, filters, sound manipulation, etc.), we'll get you up and running on your shiny new toy.
No dull, lab-coated lectures here! We can go as slow, or as fast as you want, with a bit of dry humor sprinkled about.
Since it's easier to get where you're going if you know where you've been, you'll learn just enough history to hopefully inspire you to search further in your quest for synth enlightenment.
Doug has been involved with synthesizers since 1976, his first being a PAiA Gnome kit. Early influences include Tangerine Dream, Todd Rundgren, Brian Eno, David Bowie, and Isao Tomita. Since then, he has steadily worked his way up the synth food chain. He now owns a LOT of analog and digital synths

Having taught and performed for over 30 years, I have had the pleasure of working with students of all levels and ages. For beginning students, you can expect to be playing and learning to read music within your first month of taking lessons. I am happy to say that my intermediate and advanced students have met goals of preparing for auditions with success, performance events, and simply studying new technique and repertoire for their own pleasure. I look forward to meeting and sharing your musical endeavors!

He is fun, friendly, honest, patent, enthusiastic, flexible, positive, reliable, respectful, sensitive and encouraging. Thanks Mr. Glenn."
Lisa has been phenomenal with my daughter. She is able to keep her engaged. She's very talented and has a great approach with her students."
My daughter has been taking piano lessons here for 9 years. She is now in 10th grade and Carolyn has been her only teacher. She has become quite an accomplished pianist. Starting with Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star, she has progressed to competing in ragtime and sonatina competitions under Carolyn's direction. Carolyn presents recitals several times per year which is a great confidence builder for the kids. A variety of music is presented at the recitals, including music the students have written with Carolyn's help.
Another daughter took voice lessons with Carolyn for a time. We were thrilled to discover what a beautiful singing voice she has. Carolyn really taught her how to use her voice as an instrument. My daughter enjoyed the shows Carolyn presents at nursing homes several time per year. She got to dress up in all kinds of costumes that Carolyn provides.
Carolyn is also really good about rescheduling lessons when conflicts arise."
That is not to say that he is not constantly challenging you. But he does it in a way all great teachers do; he communicates efficiently and effectively. Hence, it's pretty easy, if you put in the time, to make incredible strides with your harp playing. Highly recommend signing up!"
You probably already know all about vocal warm-up exercises... but do you know the importance of cooling DOWN your voice after singing?
