I have tutored English to both native and non-native speakers. After a few lessons with me, the student's grade in the class has usually risen at least one grade. I assist with homework, studying for tests, or pronunciation and fluency for non-native speakers. I am very strong in tutoring writing or essay writing, and my services include vocabulary and spelling help as well.

About Rachel
I am a graduate of Loyola University Chicago. I hold a B.A. in French. I have an extensive background teaching and tutoring others, especially in ESL, English, French and special education. I also have additional experience tutoring many other subjects, such as Spanish, elementary education, biology, pre-calculus, essay writing and history.

I have a true love of tutoring and helping others. I work well with children and adults of all ages. Thank you for sharing your interest in learning!

My teacher and I spoke by phone for my first lesson, but her phone had poor reception so I was not able to get the benefit of a full lesson. The second and third lessons were unsuccessful as well I need an alternative so that I can work with another teacher locally. I am not familiar enough with this on line process to be successful with my lessons. I have paid for lessons that i have not received. Please advise.

There is more time available than what is shown on my calendar. Please email me to discuss your preferred time.

I love literature, and I love explaining language and novels. You will truly enjoy your class with me, because I love this subject.

About Micah
I have been a full time private English instructor for 9 years, primarily with professionals who need to improve language skills for working in the United States or working with Americans. This includes, slang, idioms, phrasal verbs, professional email writing, presentations, American culture, accent/pronunciation and more.

I have created The Bellieu Method, which is a specific way to learn languages, which is the most effective for acquiring a language.

I always use RELEVANT articles to read, TV shows to watch, books to read, radio shows to listen to, in order to incorporate English as much as possible in every aspect of the student's life.

I have had contracts with Hitachi, NTT Data, American Airlines, Southwest Airlines, Samsung, Ferrovial, Webber, Bluebonnet, Austin Bridges and Roads, North Tarrant Infrastructure, Trinity,
Mary Kay International, and many, many more international companies.

How I teach: I create customized classes for you. I teach you to SPEAK the language. Lessons are dynamic, fun and give you confidence, incorporating things you like: TV, radio, music, movies, current events, and much more.

One-on-one, small groups, company-wide programs, online, in person.

I am fluent in English and Spanish, proficient in French, beginner in Japanese. Because I have been learning languages for over 20 years, I 120% understand how to learn languages and therefore teach them.
