Have you always wanted to learn to knit? I can teach you the in's and out's of knitting from beginning to end. Want to learn a new technique and need a little help? I often will take the time to learn new techniques just for the challenge of it. I have taught since 2010 and love knitting anything from washcloths to ornaments to socks and sweaters and beyond. This is a portable and relaxing activity.
About Angela
I learned to crochet in grade school, taught myself to knit and learned to sew from my mother at a very early age. Teaching grade school children/students is my passion. I believe learning to knit and sew can help students learn a level of patience and persistence that will help them in their schoo

Billie began knitting at age 4. Over the decades she has knit everything from slippers, afghans, jackets, sweaters, baby clothes to dishtowels. She is a retired educational consultant who worked with parents and teachers to bring learning toys to children in their most formative years. She understands how life in our fast-paced world can lead one to feel the need to multi-task. Knitting allows you to do just that! You can have conversations or watch a film on Netflix while turning a piece of yarn into something useful, one stitch at a time. But it's also very relaxing, once you're up to speed. Billie is a patient teacher who will ensure that you'll be knitting in no time.
In your first class you'll learn how to cast on, and do the knit and purl stitches.
If time permits, you'll also learn how to bind off. Billie can help you select patterns to make things that will be at the right skill level for you.

I love knitting, enjoying making a huge variety of items using many different techniques. I knit using the English style, having grown up in Cheshire, England, but also knit using the Continental style of knitting too. I have been teaching knitting in groups and on a one to one basis for a few years. My students have ranged in age from 8 years old to 80 years old.
If you need help with a specific project, learning a new technique or just starting out as a beginner knitter, please get in touch.
About Jane
I love hand crafts and was attracted to hand knitted items from an early age. I'm a qualified elementary school teacher, having taught both in London and Boston. I have also worked with high school students and adults in museum education, having a masters in Museum and Gallery Education. I love k

As with crocheting, I can teach a range of students, from those with the beginning desire to learn to students wishing to hone specific techniques. My favorite techniques include in the round and double pointed needles, because who doesn't want to learn to avoid more sewing?
About Rhiannon
My name is Rhiannon and I am a third generation crafter. Originally I went to school for art history, all the while crafting. Eventually I had enough of studying other people's work and instead wanted to make my own and empower others to do the same. I consider myself to be the "Swiss Army Knif

I am a self-taught knitter and started when I was 10 years old. All I had on hand was scrap yarn, a pair of pencils, and a nicely illustrated book by Montse Stanley. I help students "discover" knitting and guide them towards a strategy that makes sense for each individual. I welcome students of all levels, and I would love to help you find joy in creating beautiful items by way of this amazing craft.
About Meg
I am an enthusiastic Web specialist with over 25 years of experience with Internet technologies and software development, both as a professional contractor and as an educator. I have been teaching and tutoring since I was 10 years old, so I am passionate about helping my students understand new-to-
