I was a little skeptical about signing up at first because this was the first time I would be doing online acting classes. After the first 5 mins with coach weeks I knew then that I made the right choice. He’s very personable and finds a way to relate the topic or situation directly for you. The one thing I know is that if a person can teach online or a classroom won’t matter and Mr Weeks has what you are looking for. Awesome teacher
Shaun
I have taken other classes, but always felt they were unhelpful and redundant. I have been taking classes with Coach Weeks for a few weeks now and I can already see Im improving with my speech, comfortability and confidence. I am looking forward to my later classes.

Hi and Welcome! In addition to holding a Masters Degree in Acting from New York University, I have been a professional working actor for over 30 years and have been fortunate to work on Broadway, Off-Broadway, in television and film. I teach Acting to all ages and skill levels, as well as Singing Performance (focuses on the 'story" of the song, not technique). Whether you are pursuing acting as a profession or not, the benefits of theater training can be profound on many levels. We humans love to play. We love stories. I encourage fellow actors to be confident, joyful, and fearless with their creativity. I teach emotional literacy, empathy, and the value of failing well and often. I inspire actors to build their own "arsenal" of tools that will serve you throughout your creative life. For professionals, I am happy to work on audition material, monologues, and scenes. For young artists, I am thrilled to work on auditions for BFA programs, scholarships, summer intensives, and more.

About Ashley

Safety and respectful collaboration are the foundation of my teaching philosophy. I encourage a passion for play, self-discovery, and a willingness to see yourself as an artist who has the power to affect change in our world. My acting life began when I was ten, participating in community theater a

I wrote the review below because I was mad at her for personal reasons... Shes actually a great teacher. Sorry Cara
Estevan
DO NOT! I REPEAT DO NOT take opera vocal lessons from her. She learned from someone who cant even sing. She actually believes falsetto is unhealthy and I spent years avoiding the best part of my voice due to her misinformation. Any look at vocal pedagogy will confirm that falsetto is indeed a healthy voice mechanism used to develop a strong voice especially in tenors and she has chosen to be willfully ignorant due to either bad teaching or just not caring. Wolf in sheep's clothing people. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
Becca
She's a wonderful teacher! Very caring and patient but to the point. She knows her stuff!

Alyssa is a wonderful teacher This was my first voice lesson ever. She was understanding, enthusiastic and very helpful in getting me started
Susan.
Alyssa is an upbeat, encouraging, and patient teacher. Her own singing voice is beautiful, and she sings very professionally in a wide range of genres. She is reliable, pleasant, sincere, and capable. She gives each student her full attention and tailors her lessons to each one's particular talent (as well as where they're in need of improvement). I recommend Alyssa very highly... She's delightful!

I have known Alyssa now for about a year and she is a true master of her art form. She is knowledgeable and genuine in her teaching and performing, and always seeks the best for her students. I highly recommend her as your teacher.

"Christine communicates a well as anyone I've ever worked with. Great sense of humor, knows her stuff, and knows how to get it across to her students. She involves herself constantly in continuing education, so that she always represents a work in constant progress, rather than resting on her laurels and remaining static.
I recommend her highly to anyone looking for a great teacher and coach.

She's the best."

"I have worked with Erin on several occasions, because she is so wonderful at her job! She has helped me to prepare for numerous auditions, many of which have gone very well as a result. She is an incredible actor herself, and she uses her talent and expertise to help me be the best actor I can be. Finding my super objective in a monologue or scene, the different tactics, focus, awareness, groundedness... these are all things she has helped me to do to strengthen my own work. She is down to earth and open, which makes working with her really easy and comfortable. Performing my work in front of somebody else can be very difficult, because I often question what the viewer will think of me. Not only does Erin help me fight that fear, she helps me find the gratitude and joy in getting to perform. I highly recommend Erin as an acting coach! She’s fantastic!"
