I've been drawing my whole time practically, and it's something that I always want to be doing more. Whether it's looking outside at the still landscape, or recreating a moving scene, drawing has always been a passion of mine.
I can help you with putting what you see in your mind onto paper more genuinely. We'll work on perspective, scale, color gradients, shading, detailing, and much more.

Having been in photography since 2008, I am a professional wildlife photographer, constantly on the move capturing amazing wildlife, taking pictures and publishing them online.
In my down time, I love to teach others the basics of photography including theory, history, equipment (DSLR, mirrorless), lighting, posing, post-processing workflow, etc.
If you are interested in a career in photography, I can also give you tips on how to get published, find clients, etc.
Prior to focusing on wildlife and nature photography, I photographed portraits (humans, pets) and weddings.

I have been a professional oil painter for 36 years and have taught oil and acrylic painting classes fro over a decade. I teach a casual, fun but serious style class. My goal is to teach the basics of creating a simple strong painting in a semi realistic style. However, my goal is to allow the student to develop their own individual style. Understanding the creative process is also key to making good art.
My name is Dan. The only thing that I love more than painting is teaching students how to paint. I call my teaching method, "serious play". In other words, I want the students to learn something of value during each class, but also to enjoy the creative process that is key to making a successful p

I want to help you to become a better artist and have fun while you’re doing it! My style of teaching is to tell you about powerful ways to approach your drawings that will boost your technical ability as fast as possible. In other words, I’m going to help you to make your art look like the thing you’re drawing. But I won’t rush you through it! We’ll take as long as you need to get a good understanding of the most important aspects of the lesson. We can focus on what you are most interested in learning about. Want to learn how to draw faces better? Or maybe improve your proportions for drawing a full body person? Pets, landscapes, still life, it’s your choice because I work for you. Each of these are unique subjects, but there are certain fundamentals that apply to all of them which I will help you with to give your drawings more of a “pop out” look! Some of those things are learning to see values (light and dark), negative space, and how angles and relationships of different elements
I want to help you make huge leaps in your skills to become a better artist than you even thought was possible! Whatever you want to create, you can do it! Private lessons can save a lot of time and keep you on the right path for your personal individual needs, where ever you are on your way to be
