About Rosanne
I am a life-long crocheter, having learned from my grandmother and the Girl Scouts as a child. I am beginning my coursework for certification as a Crochet Master by the Crochet Guild of America this fall. I can work from written instructions as well as charts and often create my own patterns. I have used all types of yarn from the bulkiest roving wool to the finest thread. Currently my focus is on baby clothes, toys and blankets - new generation coming in to my family! One of my primary life pleasures is gifting my creations.
I have enjoyed teaching crochet informally throughout my life to friends and friends of friends and am always thrilled when the skill takes root in another. I currently belong to a few local crochet / knit circles and attend CGOA conferences as regularly as possible.
If you're up for learning or honing your cro
chet while sharing knowledge, laughs and a yummy snack, I'm your gal.

NOTE: I am right-handed. It is sometimes difficult for a left-handed person to learn from a right-handed crocheter.

About Matthew
Hello, there! My name is Matthew! I've been teaching private lessons since 2014 and have loved helping my students learn the knitting/crocheting basics, expand their understanding of their abilities, and find a proactive way to relieve stress and bad moods. I teach knitting English or Continental style, multiple cast on methods and when to use them, different increase and decrease methods achieving different looks depending on the pattern and desired outcome, and finally different bind off methods.

I knit and crochet for a high fashion handcrafted company (The Third Piece), I have an Etsy shop, and am commissioned to crochet for international competitions. I'm a kind and outgoing person and my teaching style is relaxed yet focused, goal oriented, and fun! Knitting and crocheting are wonderful ways to express yourself, relieve stress,
and to make gifts for multiple occasions. I look forward to helping you reach your goals!

Matthew has been an outstanding teacher and has been very patient with me in his teaching. I frequently get frustrated early with myself on projects, but he was excellent in making me pace myself. He is extremely professional and knowledgeable about various techniques. He adapted his teaching to the technique of knitting which worked best for me. I HIGHLY recommend Matt for Knitting Lessons!

About Laura
Hi! My name is Laura and I have been teaching professionally, in one capacity or another since I graduated from college in 1998. I currently design knit and crochet patterns for Coats & Clark (the largest craft manufacturer in the world). My mother taught me to knit and crochet at such a young age that I don’t remember a time when I haven’t known how to knit or crochet. In 2010 I began teaching needle-crafts, as well as selling the same items I’d been making and giving away to loved ones for many years. I also began creating and selling hand spun yarn. I have been developing and designing patterns since 2013. Once you start knitting, the possibilities are endless!

Hey what's up serious gamers.

I have been playing video games for longer than I can remember. I beat the Legend of Zelda in kindergarten, moved on to Duck Hunt, 007 and when I found Halo I fell in love. That being said, I am able and willing to teach any FPS (first person shooter) and I can definitely help with third person shooters as well.

I have competed in Gears of War, Halo, and Guitar Hero with a few wins under my belt. I have been to only one MLG event but have personally made sure nearly every professional in Halo 3 knew my name. At one point, I was collecting videos of me putting them to shame but have since lost the videos.

I'm a super nice guy but when it comes to gaming, you need confidence! That's your first lesson! I'm cheap and will continue to stay that way. I have had students before who have consistently tol
d me how much better they got IMMEDIATELY after my lessons. One student in particular raves about my lessons every time we talk.

Hope to hear from you!

About Vijay
I am 18 years old, currently working at Parish Summer camp in Dallas, Texas. Then heading to Boston to pursue my Undergraduate degree at Northeastern University.
My plan is to pursue Political Science and Economics as a double major and one day become an exceptional Lawyer.

I spent the last four years teaching origami to kids like you at schools, events and being interviewed for my work. I donate all my proceeds to charitable foundations. last year I invested in Milaap. A microfinancing platform for individuals, I was able to provide 72 people with a new home, better sanitary, electricity for their village and got 10 children from that pool educated. You could be making a difference folding those papers. You're not only bringing your own origami models to life but helping someone in return as well.

I was born in New Jersey and then shi
fted to India. I grew up in a multicultural society and it has shaped me the person I am today. It has given me a strong entrepreneurial work ethic and to always strive for more.

My work may seem simple and supposedly easy, trust me once you fold those triangles I will blow your minds right off
