You'll learn some yarn and needle basics like how to choose the right needle for a specific yarn and how to read a ball band. You will learn how to cast on and bind off as well as the knit and purl stiches.
You will need to have at least several yards of yarn (preferably worsted weight) and a pair of straight or circular knitting needles (preferably size 6, 7 or 8).
