I have been working as a knitting and crochet teaching artist since 2010 and as an English as a Second Language Instructor since 2008. My lessons are always student focused and encourage you to practice the specific skill during the lesson while giving you the opportunity to ask questions and develop your skill set.

Please note, all lesson times are subject to weekly availability. 

If you would like lessons at my location in New Jersey, purchase the lesson as 'online' and the exact location will be sent via email after purchasing lessons. Student lessons are done out of the public library near my location if you would like to meet me at my location. For security reasons, I cannot list my specific location on this public facing website. Please don't hesitate to message me about any questions in regards to this. 

In this class we will learn 2 and 4 finger knitting which can be used to make bracelets, headbands, hair ties, etc. Whatever you can imagine, you make it!

Are you looking to start or advance your skills in knitting? I am here to help! I am a Craft Yarn Council Certified Level 1 and 2 knitting instructor and teacher and have been working as a professional knitting instructor since 2010. I have experience working with students aged 8 through adult. 

Wherever you are in your knitting journey, whether it be learning the basics of knitting and purling or working on advanced skills such as intarsia, short rows, brioche, or double knitting, I am here to help you reach your knitting goals. Lessons are focused on the specific goals of the student.  I am happy to work on your pattern of choice and can also recommend patterns based on your level and desired goals. I am also able to help with pattern interpretation and problem solving in knitting projects.

Erin was professional, knowledgeable and kind. I am an intermediate crocheter but was having difficulty understanding instructions to make an afghan. I’d purchased all the yarn, and there were no schematics. Erin worked with me and even sent a short video she’d made for me showing the last three stitches, with a pointer, to indicate where the hook was supposed to be inserted and brought out. I was very impressed! I would definitely ask for Erin to help me again.
