I have been working as a knitting and crochet teaching artist since 2010 and as an English as a Second Language Instructor since 2008. My lessons are always student focused and encourage you to practice the specific skill during the lesson while giving you the opportunity to ask questions and develop your skill set.

Please note, all lesson times are subject to weekly availability. 

If you would like lessons at my location in New Jersey, purchase the lesson as 'online' and the exact location will be sent via email after purchasing lessons. Student lessons are done out of the public library near my location if you would like to meet me at my location. In this class we learn the Tunisian Simple Stitch and create a beautiful and study dishcloth/hot pad. Tunisian crochet works multiple stitches across the hook to create a thick and durable fabric.

Are you ready to start or advance your crocheting skills? I am here to help! I am a Craft Yarn Council Certified Crocheting Instructor and have been working professionally as a crocheting artist and teacher since 2009. I teach beginner through advanced students how to crochet items such as beautiful scarves, warm, colorful winter hats, and funky bracelets and headbands. If you can imagine it, you can create it!

Lessons are focused on the student's specific needs and level. I am happy to help you with a crocheting pattern of your choice or can recommend crocheting patterns based on your level and what you desire to learn. I can also assist you in correcting mistakes, problem solving, reading patterns and pattern interpretation.

Erin was professional, knowledgeable and kind. I am an intermediate crocheter but was having difficulty understanding instructions to make an afghan. I’d purchased all the yarn, and there were no schematics. Erin worked with me and even sent a short video she’d made for me showing the last three stitches, with a pointer, to indicate where the hook was supposed to be inserted and brought out. I was very impressed! I would definitely ask for Erin to help me again.
