Hello! In this class, we'll be learning complex strategies such as Desperado, Decoy, Minor piece endgames and Rook endgames. I'll explain the concept with an example puzzle and then we'll be solving puzzles based on the same concept. Worksheets / Homework puzzles are included as well!

She has good knowledge of chess and helped my son to familiarize with different openings and to understand end game.

Ms.Savetha is a wonderful instructor. My son enjoys her lessons and puzzles.

I would give a negative review if I could. Enrolled my 6 year old for set of weekly chess lessons recently upon confirmation from the teacher on her availability. Just after the first week class, she informed me that she was going on vacation and that she would not be available for the remainder of the classes. Needless to say, I consider this to be a  professional breach of conduct and contract. Clearly, she seemed to have had prior plans to go on a vacation and there was no upfront acknowledgment of this fact provided to me. I chose her only in the knowledge that she was going to be committed as anybody would (as confined by her when I enrolled). My multiple follow ups thereafter were left unanswered. Although I did get my fees refunded by takelessons who were prompt, it became clear that they were surprised to hear of the discontinuation as they were not informed by her of her absence. 
As somebody who values honesty and a good professional conduct, my experience says it all. 
She demonstrated poor professionalism as a teacher and disservice to her craft as well as discredited takelessons.
Overall, it was a bad experience and I will think twice before I check out takelessons again.

Knowledgeable, friendly, listens to you and caters the puzzles as per your requirement. Also, if requested to change the class date in case of emergency - she is very flexible with her schedules and alters the class date (instead of marking canceled - which Takelessons will deduct the amount). Glad I chose her for my son!

She has all the good qualities a best teacher should have.

You can ask her what field you want to concentrate - openings Middlegames or endgames and she'll teach you in that particular part. High standard teaching!

My daughter is just 5 years old. Savetha has excellent patience with kids. Would definitely continue taking lessons in long term.
