I'm currently a final semester Yale senior studying Sociology with Statistics & Data Science. I have a strong background in machine learning and statistics. Through high school, I tutored my peers and other students of all ages in various STEM subjects. I'm eager to meet everyone where they're at in their math background and to help build them up to where they'd like to be, whether that be for school, or other goals. I've worked with students from various backgrounds, understanding levels, and enthusiasm levels for math.

I will put in the effort to identify the exact point of confusion on a topic, and directly address the matter. No one has the same ways of learning and understanding, and I cater my lessons to each individual student to best serve them!

*I give lessons as well as provide tutoring sessions (including help with homework)!

This is class 4 in my 5 part introductory course in python programming. The whole course consists of 5 classes totaling around 3.5 hours long (plus two 45 minute practice supplemental classes). The 5-part course spans everything you need to know to begin your coding journey. Find opportunities to learn, practice, and see real world examples and work with others in the class doing pair programming to imitate real world experience.

In this class, we build on parts 1-3 of the introductory course. We learn concepts that are fundamental in coding. The following will be covered in this fundamentals class:
•	Conditional Logic Review (Boolean Logic)
•	Truthy/Falsey values
•	Logical operators
•	If/Else conditions/statements
• 	Loops
• 	List Comprehension

I ask that everyone come ready to participate alongside the live instruction to gain some exposure to writing code yourself. This is the best way to begin learning how to code! I ask that everyone joining has access to google drive (you simply need a gmail account for this).

March 2022, I came across Take Lessons while searching for a Stats Tutor. One thing that stood out immediately was that each tutor's bio was posted. I was able to read about their level of education, college major or degree, specialty, and years of tutoring.

My choice was Mehika. And I am very pleased to have chosen her.  I am a non-traditional student. What I needed was a tutor with a flexible teaching style. Mehika did just that. Sometimes, I could not grasp a concept but Mehika continued using different illustrations, and methods until it became clear She was able to dissect complex questions and formulas in a way that I could understand and apply. .  So therefore, I could be able to complete homework assignments.  Her style of teaching is to be commended.  No matter what level of Math you are currently at. Mehika will be able to help you gain confidence and knowledge in Math. And for those of you like myself who experience math anxiety. She is a patient, warm and caring tutor. Mehika takes her time to explain concepts and steps required to answer each question correctly.
 
Last, Mehika is very Intelligent and Knowledgeable in this subject (Math/Stats).  She is passionate about what she teaches. I was given additional resources to help outside of tutoring. 

On the professional side, Mehika is prepared and ready to start at your given time. I did not experience outside distractions or interruptions.  She is always punctual and ready to dive in right away. Mehika responds quickly to her messages. 

I wish that I could rate her 10 stars.  As a personal testament.  I was able to score 92 % on quizzes 5 and 6 after working with Mehika. You will not be disappointed in choosing her as your tutor. I highly recommend hiring Mehika as your tutor. She definitely produces results.

Mehika helped me study for the quantitative reasoning portion of the GRE. I needed a refresher on some basic algebra concepts that I had not come across since I was in high school, and with her help, I was able to raise my score by 8 points! I cannot thank and recommend Mehika enough!
